Chapter 24

[Duskspark's POV]

It was night, thankfully. There was no guards today. Snowingblaze was asleep next to me. She had been regaining her strength slowly. She said she would be able to go with me tonight to the Moonstone. I nudged her a little and she woke up.

"Yes?" She asked, her voice tired from what I could tell.

"We are going now. Come on. We need to hurry. No one is on guard right now." I told her. She heaved herself up and we quickly padded out of the den and to the dirtplace.

We squeezed ourselves out of the small hole at the back of the dirtplace and quickened out pace as we headed through the forest. We could not have anyone see us. If anyone did then we would be killed on the spot. Greystar wouldn't care.

"Duskspark, we have to slow down. I won't be able to keep up this pace for long." Snowingblaze complained as she limped next to me.

"We just have to keep this up till we get to MapleClan border. Then we will be fine. They won't kill us at least." I chuckled a little trying to lighten the mood as much as possible.

"Alright, I can try. Let's just hurry. I don't think I have the strength to keep going for long like this." Snowingblaze said and smiled to me. Her eyes sparkled against the moon light in the territory.

"Thank you for this Snowingblaze. I wouldn't want anyone else by my side why I do this." I purred to her. She smiled and licked my cheek. We weren't mates yet but I still wanted to ask her.

"I wouldn't want anyone else by my side either. I'm kinda glad you saved me and took me away from my home even if that meant me leaving my family." She said softly and looked back at the forest around us.

"Snowingblaze, I have been wanting to ask you a question for a really long time." I told her now facing her. My nose still was making sure if we were on MapleClan territory or not yet.

"What is it?" She asked. Her voice was as sweet as ever but it sounded sweeter right then.

"Well, I kinda wanted you to be my mate. Since I've known you, you have been one of the sweetest shecats I've ever knows. I really like you, no I love you. Please. What do you say?" I asked her then scented we were close to MapleClan territory.

She said nothing.

Still nothing.

I saw her lips moving I didn't hear any words.

What was happening?

"Huh?" I asked but didn't feel like the word came out at all.

I started to see black little spots in my vision. I wonder what those are.

I started to get dizzy. Was it because I needed more energy?

Next thing I know is that my world turned upside down. Well, it actually turned black but at that moment I thought it turned upside down.

I'm writing this ahead of time. I actually kinda like this right now because it feels more like you might actually kill me and that's the feeling I want to keep. Once again, please don't actually kill me. I just want this story to be really painful and good.
