I felt so flustered after what happened yesterday. I think I like him, or worse, love him. But I'm so young and there's a lot of things ahead of me! I don't think JK would serve as a distraction to me, though. Agh. I just don't know what to do anymore What would JK be doing with a regular fan like me, right?

I lied down on my bed and called Darren, he answered it immediately. I need to get away from JK.. I don't know why but I felt that there was something wrong, like he would hurt me.

"D, I need your help and advance, can we have lunch today?" I asked him, with a hint of worry in my voice.

"Sure thing, where to?" He replied.

"Uhm," I thought. I don't want him to travel far, but I don't want to either. Why does he have to be in Manila?! "Can you travel to SM Southmall?" I said. It's in Las Pinas anyway, that's also in Manila, right?

"Sure. Be there in 30." He said as he hung up. I quickly took a shower and dressed up. I went downstairs and saw my mom.

"Oh, ano to? Second date with JK?" My mom raised her eyebrow. Gee, mom. Thanks for reminding me of him.

"No, mom. I'm having lunch with Darren." I told her.

"Masama maging two-timer, anak." My mom laughed, I rolled my eyes and left the house.

Once I reached Southmall, I called Darren again.

"D, asan ka na?" I asked him.

"Asa tapat ng Main Entrance." He replied. I walked to the Main Entrance and saw Darren on his phone.

"D!" I called him and he gave me a hug. Whoa, why am I.. erase, erase! Si JK lang gusto mo! Hindi si D!

"Hey, V!" He smiled at me, "Where are we gonna eat lunch? He asked.

"Anywhere." I told him and he nodded. We ended up eating at Kenny Rogers. After we ate, I decided to tell him what happened yesterday and what I'm feeling.

"D, I need help." I started, he nodded, "I can't tell if JK likes me or not, he's so confusing.. Yesterday we were having lunch and then he became sweet and stuff, he gave me mixed signals or something. He placed his arm around me and he held my hand, what was more surprising was when he.." I trailed off, I can clearly remember what happened.

"When he?" Darren said making me snap back into reality.

"He hugged me for the second time, really tighter, like he does't wanna let go. I felt really.. safe? I think I'm in love with him. There's this one part of me that wants to just be with him, but there's another side that is scared, that has a feeling that he'll hurt me." I told him. He moved his chair next to me, instead of in front.

"Okay, I hate to break it to you but.. JK likes someone, he has an MU." Darren told me. I could feel my heart shatter. Ouch, umasa lang pala ako. "And of course, it's none other than Andrea Brilliantes." He said once more.

I ended up crying on his shoulder, he was comforting me by gently stroking my back, telling me it's okay. "I have an offer to make, I know it'll sound weird and bad but it's worth a shot." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Be my girl."

I froze suddenly and my eyes widened. I feel so shocked, let me just let this whole thing sink in.. Darren wants me to be his girl?! Is he crazy? I just said that I love Juan Karlos and he expects me to be with him? And he.. likes me? I'm so confused!

"Hold on, let me explain." He told me, "Look, V, I like you! And I want you to give me a chance to make you happy. Give you the happiness Juan Karlos can't, I won't hurt you, like he did. I promise." He told me, staring into my eyes. He sounded really sincere, but I'm not ready.
