"You sure about that bro?" RJ asked.
"Yeah I called dad and he was wit it. Me and Bailey gone read what they sent me and shit."
"You and Bailey is all I'm hearing wassup with that?" RJ asked smirking as him and his older brother shot around the court. Tommy instantly smiled.

"Yeah we something."
"You hit?"
"She special man...I can't even talk about her in that way. I think I love her."

RJ stood there and paused. "Cake ass nig nog."
Tommy chuckled as the thought of Bailey made him feel really good.
"What's wrong with Ryann? I saw her at grandmas earlier and she didn't talk about it."
"Her and pops got into it. It's not that serious but you know how that goes."
"Yeah."

Hi Tommy this is your auntie Lupe Santiago. Im your fathers sister and I know you're a grown man now but you still apart of our family. We wanna meet you very badly. Contact me at 555-0123,

Hearing Bailey read that from two letters made Tommy feel an inexplicable feeling.
"Where is your head at?" She asked. "That's a lot...I don't know. He killed my mom and did some horrible, terrible things to her."
"He did that though not them."

Tommy sighed and called his dad and discussed it with him.  His dad encouraged him to do it for several reasons. He looked at Bailey and her facial expression said the same thing.
"Imma handle my business baby."
"That's my boy."

Tommy pulled out his phone and dialed the number and got a response On the fourth ring and it was answered by a woman.

"Hello?"
"H-Hello this is Tommy and I received a letter from Lupe."
"Tommy....I've been waiting on your call nephew."

Tommy and Bailey went to his grandmas house to deliver the news and of course his grandma couldn't help but to worry but she was happy he was getting closure.

"How you been holding up here?" He asked Ryann while he sat next to her on the couch.
"I miss my bed but good."
"Ry just go home. You was never even kicked Out in the first place." Ryann shook her head. "Daddy ain't text me nothing....he don't even care that I'm gone."
"He does but you was wrong." "I'll think about all that later but I'm happy for you...you get to discover your other culture and family so that's cool." "Yeah. It's cool na but tomorrow I know it'll be nerve wrecking." "Yeah considering everything." "For sure but...Mel having a brunch tomorrow so I'll come scoop you and grandma before then."
"Tommy I don't wanna--" he kissed his little sisters cheek. "You heard me."

Ryann rolled her eyes. "But wait lemme ask you this....how you feel about me going with a white boy?"
Tommy's face changed and he rubbed his head.
"Kinda steep little sis."
"Why?"
"Just is. You're too young to even be fucking wit dudes."
"We're a year apart."
"But you're still my little sister."
Ryann rolled her eyes and smiled.

Tommy sat back on his couch as he watched Melrose, his dad, Bailey, and July interact in the kitchen. Everything Tommy felt like he lacked is what he's had all along. He smiled admiring them all together; Bailey had accidentally met his family before but this time he introduced her as something more than a friend. She instantly fit in right away naturally.

They all except RJ who was riding around in his zone thinking about life and Ryann who was still rebellious, ate as they watched Freedom Writers. Tommy knew he was going to meet his other family tomorrow but if that didn't work out, looking at his family, he didn't mind.

"Goodnight kids." Rome said.

Tommy smirked and nodded as they all exchanged hugs. Rome and Melrose were trying to change the structure of this household and be more open and give out more kisses and hugs.
