There she is.
Beatrice Annika Miller.
The most beautiful girl to grace the earth.
As I sit on the bed, I watch her put makeup on and I see her complaining about what outfit she has to pick out for the day, and how her makeup has to look just right. Now saying she looks beautiful without makeup is an understatement; she blows me away every single time I see her, with or without makeup.
Just watching her get ready astounds me. It's so cliche to say that she doesn't need makeup or fancy clothes, but without makeup, a person is raw & exposed, that is what I love.
"Hey Jacob, could you hand me my blue hairbrush?" she says waking me from my thoughts. I toss the brush to her as she starts styling her hair for our eight month anniversary. I'm taking her to the beach, she just doesn't know that yet. "Babe, why won't you at least give me one hint as to where you're taking me?" I laugh at that question considering she's been asking for hints endlessly for hours, "You know you're not getting any hints, I don't know why you keep asking," I say back. She huffs and goes back to curling her hair. I just can't help but smirk because of how frustrated she gets when i don't tell her.
As she finishes up styling her hair, she goes into her closet to pick out an outfit. "Jacob, does this look okay?" she asks as she holds up a dress and sandals. "It looks fantastic, sweetheart." While she's still pondering her outfit, I see a book on her nightstand called Looking for Alaska by John Green, so I start to read it. I had read one of his books before so I thought it couldn't be too bad.
"Jacob, are you to ready to go?" she asks. Dropping my attention from the book, I look up and she takes my breath away. I think my jaw even dropped. There are no words to describe how absolutely stunning she looks. Her beautiful brown hair curled, her makeup done just perfect, and her gorgeous sundress and sandals. Just absolutely amazing. God, sometimes I wonder how i got so damn lucky. I guess I was staring for too long because she starts to crack a grin, which makes me smile as well.
"Yeah, let's go, babe."
