Chapter Seven
The Hurt I Hide
(Playlist – Empty by Ray LaMontagne)
WARNING: Sensitive material. TRIGGER CHAPTER!!
Jade's POV:
He drove to the seedy motel he preferred on the other side of Charleston. Far away from the school, my home, and I guessed his as well. I was used to the routine now. For three years I had kept my shit together. Just a little bit longer. I waited in the passenger seat until he came around and opened the door. He took my arm, gripping it tightly, and led me up to the room. I guess he already had things planned out and had gotten the room earlier.
He pushed me inside, then closed and locked the door. "You know what to do." That I did. I stripped off the t-shirt and stuffed it in my backpack, making sure it was secured tightly. I then opened up the wardrobe and put it in there. I didn't want to lose the smell that was on it. "Quit stalling. Get in the shower. NOW!"
"Yes sir." I kicked my shoes off, and ran into the bathroom undressing quickly. The water was turned on as hot as I could get it, and jumped in. Grabbing the washcloth and soap, I began scrubbing every inch of my body. The shampoo and conditioner were substandard, but they worked for what it was worth. Within ten minutes I was out and had a towel wrapped around me.
Everything was laid out on the TV table. The jade powder, the purple haze, acid, some pills. There were even some syringes filled with liquid. There was a bottle of champagne being chilled and one glass. Obviously he wasn't going to be drinking. I was the one going to be getting fucked up, in more ways than one.
I looked over at the bed. His disgusting body was covered with a sheet, and he was propped up against the headboard with pillows, his arms crossed behind his head. "Drink up. I want to try something new tonight."
I quickly turned around so that I didn't have to look at him. "Like what?"
"Drop your towel, Jade."
I hesitated. He got more demanding every time. I just needed a moment. Why didn't he let me get something in my system first? Okay. As long as I didn't have to face him yet. I let the towel slide away from me. "Like what?" Quickly I went to work on the jade powder, grabbing the razor blade and cutting it into fine lines. I reached over and grabbed a stamp to place under my tongue before I rolled the dollar to snort to powder. He still hadn't answered my question. Soon, I really wouldn't give a fuck.
I felt his hands press against my waist. He was naked. The need to throw-up almost overwhelmed me. Keep it together, Jade. "Here, darling." His lips kissed the nape of my neck. "Let me pop the champagne. Let's celebrate." He poured a large glass and passed it to me. I still wouldn't look at him.
"You brought protection, right?"
"Of course. Do you think I am a fool?"
"No." I downed the whole glass in one gulp and passed it back. He refilled it, and I drank it too. I passed it back for another, but this time he took the glass from me.
"Roll yourself a fat one, Jade." I set myself to work. I was starting to have a hard time focusing. His hands were on top of mine, steadying them, but never touching the drugs before me. Once I had the joint rolled. I quickly lit it. "Three hits, then come to me."
I did as he said. I just barely noticed one of the needles was missing before my world started melting away. He stalked me slowly, touching me here and there. "Stand still." I knew he was putting his mask on, and then turning the camera on. I heard a whistle from behind me and then a sting on my ass. Tears sprung in my eyes.
