CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
Flash Dance
(Playlist – Forever Stuck In Our Youth by Set It Off)
Seriously, I an honored that you read this story. I know I say it every time, but it's true. You all make me a more confident writer. CL is an absolute genius! I shudder to think that we wouldn't even have this world without her. Thank you CL!
Marco's POV:
"I've made up my mind. We've been sitting here in paradise for five weeks. I have heard enough from each of you that I can't stand it. Guys, I'm falling, and I'm falling hard. And every time she teases me with those kisses of hers...GAH!" Poor Isaac. He was being put through the wringer. I had to give it to him though, he had kept it together so far.
"So you're going to lose your virginity here in the Cook Islands. Not a bad place if I do say so myself." Vance was lying on a lounge chair with his hands behind his head and his feet crossed. His sunglasses were blocking his eyes, but the smirk on his face told me enough of what he was thinking. "Need some pointers?"
"Come now, Vance. A gymnast and a cheerleader? Between the two of them, we have the makings of a major motion picture." Marco said as he was toweling off on the other side of me. "Where is our beautiful beach babe anyways?"
Isaac stood up and took a step towards the water. "She said she was tired and wanted to go lie down. I'll check on her when I go in. I want to take a swim first."
"I'll go check on her. You want something to drink?" There were already snores coming from Vance's chair. I'd bring him back some water. Taking my time, I enjoyed the walk through the white sand, feeling the difference as it went from warm to cool, once I was under the palm trees. I was not expecting to hear Jade's fearful cries.
Jade's POV:
"No, no, no. This can't be right. I can't go through this again." I kept staring at the calendar on my phone that had a little heart and the word Marco, and looking at the box of unopened tampons. Everything had been going so well. I had actually fallen in love with all of them. I was happy. Leaving school was probably the best thing that had happened to me. We had talked about finishing my classes online once I got back, or at least taking the GED. Now I didn't know what to do. Should I tell Marco? Vance and I had always used protection. Marco and I did too, except that one time... the first time.

"Look at these, mother. Mother!"
"Come along, Jade. We'll be late."
"Ugh. Can't we just spend some time together being silly?" I was talking to myself, they had already walked too far ahead. The shoes were beautiful. It was the brand new Christian Louboutin Troubida heels. Should I go in and get them, or catch up with the family? We don't spend enough time together as it is, shoes later.
I caught up with my parents and Jay a couple blocks down the street. "Where's Rocky?"
Jay looked around before answering. "I thought he was with you?"
"No. He knows where we're going, right? I don't want to lose him here." I smiled sweetly at my parents who weren't even paying attention.
"Don't worry sis. Hey, look. There he is." Sure enough, Rocky was walking towards us.
"Sorry, was looking at something. Got sidetracked." Rocky was so cute. I had liked him for as long as I could remember. Especially when his hair got in his eyes like it was now. "Jade. We're here."
