New Year

Y/n POV

You and your bestfriend for 5 years, Matt went to your house for the New Year party since Matt's mom and your mom are basically bffs too.

"Matt let's go up to my room!" You said to Matt as he was sitting on your living room sofa. He stood up then both of you came running up the stairs.

"What are we going to do?" He asked. "How about we play truth or dare?" You said, grinning.

As both of you were playing, you saw Matt constantly looking at your lips. You then made kissy noises and joked around since he still didn't have his first kiss yet.

"Stop it!" He said rolling his eyes. "Oh stop being a girly girl, Matt. You have to man up!" You teased. "Shut up dork!" He said then both of you laughed.

Actually the reason both of you were playing since both of you were bored out of your Matt's and yours minds while waiting for the new year.

You then checked your phone for a reason since you wanted to go through your instagram and twitter but as the time popped up you got excited.

"Matt! It is already 11:58!" You screamed making Matt jump a little. "Let's wait near my window!" You said and held Matt's wrist and dragged him to your window.

The fireworks started to burst out more as the time went ticking. You heard the fam bam downstairs doing the countdown.

"5...4...3...2...1..." They yelled. You looked to face Matt. "HAPPY N-" You was cut off by Matt's soft lips interacting with mine.

Matt pulled away then both of you smiled. "What was that for?" You said and Matt's cheeks started to turn into a velvety color. "Y/n...I liked y- no crash that out...I loved you for five years, the time we started haning out during 7th grade and how you always tease me because of my lips being a virgin for this past 5 years." He said.

"I love you too." You had feeling for Matt for 3 years now. "And thanks for being my new year's kiss really appreciated that." You said then giggled.

Matt then closed his eyes and started leaning in. You did the same until both of your lips smashed onced again.

Both of you pulled away and smiled cheekily with eachother. "Happy New Year!" You said. "Happy New Year."
