That is so cliché!

Oh, I can hear almost hear fangirls screaming over cliché fan fictions, but why? Isn’t tiring to constantly read the same thing over, and over again about your favorite celebrit(y/ies)? Isn’t it ridiculous that you practically swoon over something, when you know exactly how it is going to end?

Celebrity runs into unknown stranger, feels a weird connection with that strange, invites them into their home, and then, boom, on that same exact day, those two kiss. Later in the story, the stranger is now married to the celebrity, what, two months later?

Now, I am not saying all cliches are horrible. Some of them are actually pretty well written, and they don’t overuse the whole cliché plot, but some are seriously over exposed.

I can think of about 10 Wattpad stories that were so bad they pretty much drove me to bang my head off a wall.

Is it really even hard to predict what is going to happen whenever the author leaves you with a cliffhanger that goes a little like this,

His brilliant, blue eyes seemed to come closer to mine. The room began to feel empty, with just me and him in it, even if there were 50 other people here. It was just me and him. I could feel his hot breath on my lips.

Don’t we all know what is going to happen in the next chapter? They are going to kiss, and somehow later on in the story end up pregnant, true?

Really people, this is pathetic.

So, honestly, why are so many females , or even males, lining up like preschoolers just to read something that is going to end EXACTLY how they think is it?

I don’t know really, but if you think you have even a slight idea why, tell me in the comments. If there is a certain topic you would like to me rant about, PM me @Skinnylove123345 or comment below.

Until next month’s rant, this is Ali, signing off.
