It was a week since I spoke to Alice and she hasn't been back. Did I scare her off? Good. Maybe she'll leave me alone.

I got tired of her just walking in, staring at me for 15 minutes, trying to get me to talk then leaving then deciding to come back another time to do it all over again.

After a few days of saying three sentences to her, I went and showered. There wasn't a time limit, but I was quick as possible. I didn't want another patient to walk in with a nurse having to watch her cause she was unstable.

As usual, I was sitting on my bed, staring out the window. I was thinking about what my life would be like if I wasn't in here. Would I have graduate high school? Would I have gone to college? There was so much I wanted to do. But no, I'm stuck here. All because of he Adam. Adam was Mark's best friend.

The two of them were best friends ever since kindergarten. They did everything together. They were in college together. And then this happened.

I heard the lock on my door click and then it opened. "Mai." Alice's voice spoke. Damn! Spoke too soon!

"Mai I have someone here." She said.

"His name is Alex Froman." She said. That name left her lips, my heart stopped.

Did she just say Alex Froman is here? The Alex Froman that didn't listen to me? The Alex Froman who wouldn't listen to me? The Alex Froman who had me sent here!?

"You bastard!" I shouted, leaping off my bed and throwing myself onto him.

"Oh my god! Mai no!" Alice shouted.

I had my arms tightly wrapped around his neck, squeezing real hard. I was slightly panting and beginning to sweat. I could hear that he was struggling to find the air to breathe.

"Mai, let him go! He's here to listen!" Alice shouted, wrapping her arms around my waist and prying me off him.

I fought against her, "You bastard! You put me here! I hate you! I fucking hate you!" I shouted tears filling my eyes.

"Mai, just calm down! Calm down." Alice said holding onto me tightly so I wouldn't get loose and attack again. Her arms were wrapped around me from behind, holding me close to her chest.

I was huffing and puffing, struggling to get free.

Alex fixed his shirt and stood up straight, "Nice to see you again Mai." He calmly spoke.

"Fuck you." I spat.

He only nodded.

"Now Mai, just listen to what he has to say." Alice calmly said.

"Hell no. He didn't listen before." I snapped. My eyes didn't leave him since I violently attacked him.

"Everything okay Alice?" A voice asked.

We looked over, seeing a doctor and two nurses standing in the doorway.

"Yeah, we're good. Right Mai?" Alice asked as she looked down at me.

"Go to hell." I mumbled, yanking from her grip.

Alex had taken a few steps back as I walked over to my bed and sat down.

"You sure?" The doctor asked.

Alice took a deep breath and blew it out, "Yes. We'll be fine."

I ignored them, looking out the window. The door closed, leaving me in the same room as the man who put me here a little over a year ago. I despised him in every way possible.
