She speaks

It was another day of sitting on my bed, doing nothing. Usually I would be listening to music or reading one of my favorite books but they took everything I owned from me once I got here. The only thing I have with me are the boring, plain, white hospital clothes and a brush. That's it. No music. Books. Or T.V. The quiet bugs me. I hate being in the quite. I get agitated, I can't sit still. So I walk around my room. I stare at my feet and walk around my room.

I'm in this place for no reason. Why won't anybody listen to me!?

I sighed. running my hand through my hair. It's usually in a ponytail but it was down for today. It got longer since my first day here. It was just above my shoulders. Now it's down to the middle of my back. I should probably take a shower. I don't like doing anything around here cause they always have someone watching you. Especially the girls. Girls who go and shower will try things. So now whenever a girl goes to shower, they have a nurse go with them. It's a girl nurse, but still it's weird.

Knock knock

I sighed as I put my face in my hands. Why does she come back when she knows that I'm not gonna talk? The door opened and Alice walked in, "Hey Mai." She spoke as she closed the door.

I stared out the window, like usual.

"I see you didn't touch your food." She said.

I rolled my eyes. Of course not.

I felt the end of my mattress sink down. Looking over, I saw her sitting. "Mind if I sit?" She asked.

I stared at her for a few more seconds before I went to looking out the window.

It was quiet. I took a deep breath, blowing it out.

"Is there anything you want to talk about?" She asked.

I kept my mouth shut and eyes out the window. I heard her sigh, "Just talk." She said.

I scratched my head. "Come on Mai. There has to be something you want to talk about." She said.

I want someone to listen.

"I'm here to listen." She said.

My head snapped over in her direction with wide eyes. Did I say that out loud?

"Talk to me." She said.

I only scoffed, looking back out the window.

"I'm trying to help, but if you don't talk to me then what's the point of me being here? I'm trying my best to try and get you out of here. " She said.

"There's no way I'm getting out of here." I snapped.

Alice gasped, "That's not-" "Don't you dare tell me it's not true because it is!" I shouted interrupting her. "Everyone will look at me as a murderer. A crazy person, but I'm not!" I shouted again, throwing my hands on the bed.

Alice was quiet. And she didn't say a word. "Tell me what happened Mai." She quietly spoke.

"I'm not saying a word til Alex Froman is here." I growled through clenched teeth.

"Who is that?" She questioned.

I glared at her, "The asshole who had me put here."
