One Week Earlier

I awoke when I heard Clarke's voice outside of my tent. She came in but I kept my eyes closed. When she walked over to me, it took all of my strength not to open my eyes and kiss her right then and there, but I had to wait. She put her hand on my shoulder and spoke. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I know I left in a haste, but--" I cut her off and pulled her face to mine. I couldn't take it any longer. She made me change my ways, I am a different person now because of her. I kissed her aggressively, and I felt her climb on top of me and straddle my waist.

"I know. It is not your fault, so do not worry about it any longer." I told her when I pulled back for a breath. "I take blame for what I did, but it was for my people. I just wanted you to know that. . . I love you, Clarke of the Skaikru. I love you and it pains me to say how much, because it is entirely true."

She then smiled down at me, "I was going to say that I didn't blame you for what you did. I actually understand why you did it and I am not holding you against it, but you cut me off." She smiled even wider and pulled me in for another kiss, I savored every moment I had with her, I loved it. When she pulled back, I made a small noise of protest which caused her to laugh. "And I too, love you, Lexa, Heda of the Trikru. Always and forever, no matter what." I smiled, and pulled her face to mine and kissed her again.

The next morning, I awoke to the smell of Clarke's hair in my face. It was a pleasant smell, and I loved it, but I knew that we both needed to get up. "Clarke," I whispered, "Clarke, you need to get up." She mumbled something unintelligible and then wrapped her arm around my waist. I looked at her, she was so adorable when she was asleep. So peaceful. "I swear to the Gods Clarke, you must awaken or you will face the wrath of me." I watched her smile, but still did not open her eyes. Sighing, I leaned in and kissed her ear, slowly making my way down to her neck with small and innocent kisses. I felt Clarke smile again, but this time she pulled my face up to hers and kissed me ever so lightly.

"I'm up," she said when she finally pulled away.

I laughed, "Yes, yes you are. But now, we really need to get out of bed. My people are waiting for me." Clarke sighed, but nodded and released me from the hold she had on me. We both get up, and I walk over to my armor and get it on. When I look back over to Clarke, something odd strikes me. "Clarke, do your people know where you are?" She looks down to the floor. I frown and use my Commander voice on her. "Clarke," I demand.

She sighs inwardly, and shakes her head. "No. I told Bellamy that I was leaving. I never said where I was going, or for how long. . ." I frown at her. "That was three days ago. Don't yell at me for it, I was upset and I'm sure that Bellamy told the others that I left. It's fine."

I look at her and nod. "Okay then. I just don't want anyone coming here and accusing me of something I did not do. Now get dressed. Today you are going to learn to fight." I leave her in my tent and walk out past Indra. It was going to be a long day, I thought to myself after taking a deep breath. It was the truth.

Indra's POV

When the Heda finally came out of her tent the next morning, I was relieved. I had not seen the Commander since she entered her tent the night before, and since Clarke of the Sky People went in, I had not seen her leave either. I had thought that maybe she had gone in there to assassinate the Heda, but obviously that was not the case. Where was Clarke, though? I wondered. "My Heda," I bowed my head in greeting as the Commander walked past. She took a deep breath and then turned to me.

"Indra, I want two horses and a few swords and daggers. I will be escorting Clarke of the Skaikru somewhere to train." She ordered in our native Trigeasleng tongue. I frowned, but dared not question the Commander's orders in fear of my head not being attached to my body any longer. I nodded, and went to gather a few soldiers to help get supplies.

Ten minutes later, I arrived back at the Heda's tent. I assumed she had gone back inside, because she was not anywhere else in the camp. "My Heda, the things you ordered are ready for your departure." I called, not going inside of the tent. Who knows what was going on in there. A few moments later, Commander and Clarke of the Skaikru exited the tent. Heda nodded at me in greeting and in thanks, and walked to the horses, ready to leave.
