8 ~ Clarke

Present Day

My mom walks ahead of us as we leave the meeting room. When she turns the corner and heads back to the medical bay, I take Lexa's hand and pull her down a different hallway which leads to my room. When we get there, we walk in and I close the door behind us. "What are we doing in here?" Lexa asks, turning around and facing me.

"This," I say breathlessly as I pull her to me, smashing my lips to hers. Her hands automatically go to my waist, and I wrapped my arms around her neck.

She pulls back, our foreheads touching. "I have missed you, Clarke."

"As I have missed you. Even if it has only been two days, it still seems like a lifetime." She chuckles at my comment, but leans in and leaves a feathery kiss on my lips. "Oh, and I need to tell you something." I say when we break apart.

"And what is that?"

I take a deep breath. "Octavia knows. . . She kind of figured it out, but I told her not to tell anyone. She promised."

Lexa looked over at me from the spot on my bed that she had moved to. "That is okay, I guess. As long as she doesn't tell anyone. My leadership position could become void to those who do not like it."

I walked over and sat next to her on the bed. "She won't tell. She's practically my best friend. I keep her secrets and she keeps mine, that's just how things work."

She sighed, "I hope so." We sit in silence for a while, taking in each other's presence. It isn't awkward at all, but it is oddly comforting knowing she's there. A knock on the door brings us both back to reality.

"Come in," I say. The door opens and Octavia walks in the room. When she sees us, she smirks. I know she has to be thinking about something that Lexa and I weren't doing.

"Hey love bugs!" Octavia says, causing both Lexa and I to blush. "Clarke, your presence has been requested by Raven and Wick. I'm not sure what for, but whatever the reason, they need you. Maybe even if it is just to settle an argument."

I smile and nod at her. Getting up, I turn to Lexa and kiss her quickly. "Wait for me here, I'll be right back," I tell her.

"Awe!" Octavia says, a little too loudly.

I laugh, and shove her. "Shut it, O." I leave the room to go find Raven and Wick to settle whatever dispute they seem to be having today.

Octavia's POV

Once Clarke leaves her room to go find Wick and Raven, I finally get the chance to talk to the Commander about her and Clarke's relationship. Clarke is really not going to like me after this. . . oh well, she'll get over it. I walk over to Clarke's desk and pull out her chair. I flip it around and sit on it, facing the Commander. "So. . . how ya doin?" I ask.

She frowns at me, though I'm not sure why. "I know what you want Octavia. So just ask it."

I laugh awkwardly, although she is completely right. "I actually have a lot of questions. Mostly about your secret relationship with Clarke, who is my best friend."

"I realize that. Go on. . ." she rolls her eyes and sighs.

"How long have you two been officially together?"

"Uhm, a little over a week I believe," she replies.

I nod, "And has it occurred to you that she has slept with a guy?"

She blushes and looks away. "Yes, Octavia. I am aware of that."

"Have you two slept together?"

"No, and now I am done answering your questions. They are ridiculous and digging into my private life. So, go find something else to do." I laugh, though I try not to be too obvious about it.

"Okay then, Commander. Have a nice day." I stand and push the chair back into the desk. When I leave the room, I close the door and laugh hysterically all the way down the hallway.  

Okay, yes, I understand how fluffy this story is. BUT JUST WAIT! It will get better and more. . . not fluffy, very soon. You just need to be patient!
