9 ~ Raven

Present Day

"No! That is not what I said, Wick!" I yell. "Just because I get to go with them to the grounder camp and the capital does not mean I need you there every waking moment." He was driving me crazy, trying to protect me every second of every day. I hate it. "I am not a little kid."

"I didn't say you were a little kid, I just don't want you to get hurt!" He yells back.

I hear a sigh behind me, Clarke is here, finally. "Okay. . . what is going on in here? I could hear you from all the way down the hallway." I turn around and look at her.

"He thinks he needs to come with us when we go to the Grounder camp. He thinks I need protection and I'm a little kid."

"I did not call you a little kid Raven! I know you are completely capable, but I'm worried about you!" he says.

"Guys, calm down. Raven, you aren't coming to the grounder camp anymore," she sighs. I frown and throw my hands up. "It's too dangerous by this point. You and Wick both need to stay here. Octavia is the only person coming with me."

I shake my head and turn to Kyle. "You happy now?" I huff and walk out of the room, going to get a breath. I was supposed to go with them to the camp and Polis. But now that I see that is out of the question, I have to find something else to help with and or fix. I was excited to go too, but nooo, I have to stay here.

Wick's POV

I watch as Raven storms out of the room, really wanting to go after her, but I don't. Clarke is still standing there, watching her leave too. She turns back to me and shrugs. "She will get over it, Wick. She always does. It's just too dangerous for her, especially with her leg being the way it is. But let her cool off a bit before you talk to her again. Raven is being, well, Raven." I nod and she walks out of the room.

I look around, I am now completely alone. I pick up a piece of metal that sits next to me. I sigh, and decide to make something of my time.

Clarke's POV

I walk out of the design room and shake my head. Telling Raven she had to stay behind was hard, but she will understand eventually. It was for her own good. I remember Lexa waiting for me in my room, so I smile and pick up my pace a bit. Before I know it, I am standing in front of my bedroom door, about to go in. I take a deep breath and walk in to find her laying on my bed with her eyes closed. I laugh to myself and quietly pad over to her.

Leaning over Lexa, I kiss her collarbone, making my way up to her lips with small kisses here and there. By the time I reach her lips, she's smiling and pulling me to her. "Hi," I say, cuddling closer.

She sighs, "Octavia stayed to talk to me after you left." I frowned and sat up.

"What did she say?" I narrow my eyes at her. She sits up and laughs. "Lexa, what did she say? Because, being Octavia, I know I'm not going to like it very much."

"She was asking about our relationship." I nod my head, waiting for her to continue. "And she asked me how long we've been together, so I said a bit more than a week. And then she asked if I knew about you being with a guy before hand, which I knew.. ."

"And...?" I know whatever she's about to say next is gonna be the topper to the cake.

"She asked if we have slept together yet."

I laugh, "Is that it? I thought there would've been more from her." I shrug. "Whatever." I lay back down and looked at the ceiling.

"You were not going to ask about what I said to her last question, Clarke?" My eyes drift over to Lexa who was staring intently at me.

I roll my eyes. "Okay. . . what did you say to her about us sleeping together?"

"I said no, and then I told her that her questions were ridiculous and interfering with our personal life, so I kicked her out." I started laughing, almost uncontrollably. Lexa just sat smiling at me, like she did some great and heroic thing.

"Ahhh Lexa. You make me laugh so hard sometimes." After I finally calmed down, I pulled her to me and we drifted to sleep, anticipating the next day.  

Be patient with me. I've started school again and may not be able to write as much, but thank you for sticking with me!
