Can Bad Guys Really Turn Good (Under Editing)

Chapter 4

Melodie's P.O.V

Ethan, Nina and I got on the bus heading to the track meet. After last night Nina and I started talking and she became more of a friend rather than an enemy. There was only one seat left on the bus and it was in front of  Scott and Stiles. 

"It's our lucky day" I said sarcastically as I sat down in the seat. 

"Can you just punch me in the face repeatedly till I'm unconscious?" Nina asked as she sat down.

"Sorry but you're asking the wrong person. Aiden's the one who knocks people unconscious," I told her laughing. 

"Hey Nina can we switch seats real quick," Stiles asked her. 

"Nah I'm good," she told him. 

Thank god. 

"Let me rephrase this get off your ass and switch seats with me," he told her. 

"Ok fine bossy much" she sighed getting up. 

Great just great. 

"So you were with the alpha pack the whole time," Stiles asked me. 

"Yes, Stiles I was," I told him staring out the window. 

"You never really meant what you said last night did you," he asked me. 

"Stiles I'm not in the mood to talk about this right now," I told him. 

"Why because they caught you in your little lie," he asked. 

"No Stiles because I got my ass beat last night then I got yelled at about it and that I joined a fight I wasn't supposed to be in and on top of that I had to watch the guy who became like a father to me fall to his death because your little friends don't know how to walk away before someone gets hurt" I yelled. 

The bus fell silent. I looked and everyone including coach was staring at me. I sunk down in my seat wishing I could become invisible. 

"Melodie can you at least tell me why you're with them," he asked.

"Do you remember what I told you last night?" I asked. 

"Yeah" he told me. 

"Well on of them did have to join the alpha pack so they could live. Ethan, Aiden and I were all in the same pack. They killed everyone but me because they refused to so Deucalion said he would let me live if I joined the alpha pack so I did. Then later we came across a peaceful who would never hurt anyone and Deucalion had Kali and Enis help me kill them than their alpha. The whole time they were begging us not to hurt them and we just killed them. That was two years ago Stiles and not a day goes by that I don't regret what happened" I cried. 

Stiles pulled me into his chest for a hug. 

"It's ok" he whispered.

"No it's not I killed them, Stiles, I'm a murderer and you shouldn't stand for that," I told him getting out of his grip.

"Melodie they would have killed you and I understand that," he told me pulling me back into his arms. 

"I like you, Stiles I really do," I told him as I sobbed into his chest. 

"I like you too," he said kissing the top of my head. 

Then all at the same time Ethan, Nina and I got a text.

From:Aiden

Enis didn't make it and Kali is not taking it so well.

Nina's P.O.V

"Why would you betray me us like that" Scott asked. 

"Scott I wasn't my choice I was forced to be in the stupid alpha pack," I told him. 

"Oh were you forced to do everything else too" Scott asking. 

"No Scott Deucalion didn't want me to get close to you that was my choice I really do like you Scott," I told him.

"How are you forced to be part of the alpha pack Nina maybe we can fix this" Scott asked me.

"Deucalion is my dad Scott but I am not at all like him I hate this. I was forced to kill innocent werewolves to become an alpha and I'm forced to fight the boy I really like and his friends," I told him. 

"We'll figure this out Nina I promise you we will" Scott told me. 

I looked down and notice he was bleeding. 

"Scott you're not healing. Let me see it please" I asked him and he lifted up his shirt. "Oh my god Scott it's just getting worse we need to do something. Stiles try to get coach to stop the bus" I told him. 

"I'll try but I make no promises," Stiles said before getting up and arguing with coach. 

"You'll be ok Scott we're gonna fix this," I told him. 

Stiles and coach stopped arguing. Stiles was about to come back before he went and sat next to Jared. Jared ended up throwing up and we stopped at the nearest rest stop. Stiles, Lydia, and Allison took Scott in the bathroom to try and fix him. I was about to follow but Stiles suggested that it would be better if we just waited outside because Lydia and Allison don't really like us right now. 

"So what are we gonna do about Deucalion and the alpha pack," I asked Melodie. 

"We could always go to Deucalion and tell him we want to leave but he'll most likely have Kali kill us" Melodie joked.

"Yeah you're right but we'll figure something out," I told her. 

We both noticed a big crowd gathering around something. We pushed our way to the front and saw Isaac holding Ethan by his collar repeatedly punching him in the face. Melodie ran over and pushed Isaac off repeatedly punching him. Isaac started throwing punches back. Stiles ran over towards me and saw what was happening. 

"Melodie come on please stop," Stiles told her. 

She looked over at us then down at Isaac. Just as she was about to get up Isaac pulled her back down throwing the punches this time. Scott limped out of the bathroom with the help of Allison and Lydia. They walked over and once Scott saw was happening he immediately called Isaac's name. Isaac stopped what he was doing and stood up. Ethan and I ran right over to Melodie. 

"Mel are you okay," Ethan asked her.

"Yeah, are you" she laughed. 

"Yeah I can take a couple of hits" he told her laughing. 

"Come on let's get you cleaned up," I said helping her up and taking her to the bathroom. 

We cleaned the blood off her face and her nose seemed broken and slowly healing and so was the black eye Isaac had given her. We walked out of the bathroom and a whole bunch of guys kept complimenting her on how she could take a hit. 

"Hey are you okay," Stiles asked inspecting her face.

"Yeah Stiles I'm perfectly fine. He was punching Ethan and I wasn't just going to stand there and watch it happen" she told him. 

"How are we gonna explain this to coach," he asked. 

"We'll let Ethan and Isaac figure that out they were the ones who started it," I told him. 

"Let's just get back to the bus," Melodie said. 

Stiles looked down at her before agreeing and taking her hand walking with her back to the bus. I smiled and shook my head before following them.
