Stiles' P.O.V

I woke up and started getting ready for school. Melodie was in the bathroom getting and I was packing my books into my backpack. I picked up a book for my history class and noticed that I couldn't read what it said. The letters seemed to be all jumbled up. 

"Hey, you alright," my dad asked as he walked up to my door. 

I looked down at the book and it seemed to be back to normal. 

"You ready for school," he asked. 

"Yeah. Yeah I'm ready" I told him and he looked at me with concern. 

"Dad seriously I'm fine it was just a nightmare," I told him. 

"What's that," I asked noticing the boxes in his hands.

"Oh, it's just ah files from the station," he told me. 

"It says sheriff's station do not remove," I said pointing at the sticker on the box. 

"Well yeah unless you're the sheriff, now get your butts to school alright," my dad said as he walked away. 

"You know Stiles I don't need to listen to your heartbeat to know your lying. You're really not okay are you" Melodie asked as she walked out of the bathroom still drying her hair. 

"You're still not ready," I asked. "Stop dodging my question," she said picking up her brush. "I'm fine, okay! You all can stop asking" I snapped. She didn't say anything as she rolled her eyes and walked towards the stairs.

Melodie's P.O.V

Stiles and I got to the school and were looking for Scott when we found him running away from his own shadow. 

"Hey hey you alright," Stiles asked as he grabbed Scott's shoulders. 

Scott just nodded. 

"You don't look alright Scott," Stiles pointed out. 

"I'm ok," Scott told him. 

"No, you're not it's happening to you too. You're seeing things aren't you" Stiles asked. 

"How'd you know," Scott questioned. 

"Because it's happening to all three of you," Lydia said as she walked up behind us with Allison. "Well well well look who's no longer the crazy one," Lydia said as we walked into the school. 

"We're not crazy," Allison told her. 

"Hallucinating, sleep paralysis. Yeah, you guys are fine" Lydia told them. 

"We did die and come back to life it's got to have some side effects right," Scott asked. The bell rang signaling that the first hour was about to start. 

"We keep an eye on each other okay, and Lydia stop enjoying this so much," Stile said as he grabbed my hand and walked to our first class.

"Morning everyone my name is Mr. Yukimura. I'll be taking over for your previous history teacher. My family and I moved here three weeks ago. I'm sure by now you all know my daughter Kira or you might not since she's never mentioned anyone from school or brought home a friend for that matter" our new history teacher told us.

Someone in the back sighed before setting their head down onto their desk. Everyone turned to look at the new girl in the back of the room. 

"Either way there she is," Mr Yukimura said pointing at her. 

She slowly raised her head and Scott stared at her and I swear I heard his heartbeat rise. I turned my attention back to the board and before I knew it class was over. I stayed back to talk to Kira.
