Chapter 45: I see fire

Aleah's POV:

We saw him light a match then the bridge was on fire. "Niklaus we have to go!" "Not till I kill him." I turned to see stefan gone and it was Niklaus and I surrounded by fire then Mikeal was in front of me. "Niklaus! Get stefan safe." I ran and tackled Mikeal off the bridge into the river.

I swam up to the surface for air looking for Mikeal then I was pulled underwater and I see him I kicked his face and and swam back up and to the shore and I tried to run and I felt a sharp pain in my back. "Well lovely I told you we would meet again." "Leave her alone!." I see Niklaus in front me. "You want her Niklaus come and get her." He breaks my rips on both side I drop to the ground and my vision went blurry and I can see Niklaus pull mikeals heart out. It started to go dark I can see Niklaus carrying me home.

Klaus's POV:

I picked up Aleah and took her home. I walked through the door and stefan took her from me. "Thank you Klaus." And walked over and sat her on the couch and attended to the wound on her head. "She will be okay just needs rest." "Yeah she is one tough girl mate. You have done well." We both looked at her. "You should take her upstairs and change her god knows what will happens to us if she wakes up soak in wet so I suggest you do change her." "Yeah I probably should huh." He goes over and takes her upstairs. I looked around and saw a pad an paper and I wrote Aleah a note. Then I went back to the bridge by the time I got there it was burnt to the ground and fire rescue. I watched it get out out then I headed back to new Orleans.

Stefan's POV:

After I changed Aleah I set her in our bed and covered her up and turned up the heat knowing she is freezing. I watched her sleep and I rubbed her cheek. I loved her and klaus is right she is a tough girl and will protect people she loves. I walked back downstairs to see klaus had left and there was a note for me and Leah. I picked up my note and started to read it.

Dear Stefan,

Our friendship still goes strong no matter what we get into. Take care of Aleah she will need you at times where she will turn her humanity off and I'm so proud and happy for you two getting married soon and starting a family of your own and I will not miss out on it for the world. If your ever in new Orleans stop by and say hi.

Goodbye, my old friend.

I read it two times over and smiled. "Thank you klaus." I set it on the coffee table and I walked back up with Aleah's letter and set it on her dresser. I went and took a shower and changed and went to bed and I wrapped my arms around her and I held her close.

Aleah's POV:

I woke up to the sun shining on my face and a pair of strong arms wrapped around me. I smile and I kissed Stefan's nose I see him smile. "Well good morning beautiful." "Good morning handsome." He leaned in and kissed me. "I'm going to go take a bath." I got out of bed and walked over to my dresser to get some clothes and I noticed a letter from klaus. I walked into the bathroom and started the water for the tub. I grabbed the letter and got into the tub and I opened it.

My dearest Gracie,

I know bad things has always happened around me. I feel terrible for all the bad that has happened to you. I heard you graduated high school with a 4.0 gpa. That's really great love. I also heard you didn't pass your SATs that means you had to get every question wrong and I know your a smart girl. I'm happy for you and stefan on getting engaged and soon yo be married. I will see you soon Gracie I wouldn't miss your wedding day for the world. If you come to new Orleans again. You can stay as long as you like.

I smiled at the letter knowing Niklaus put full effort into this letter. I set the letter aside as Stefan walked in. "How's your head and bath?." "Its good and my head is fine sorta getting a headache." "I'll get you some medicine baby and what did he say.?" I handed stefan the letter and he walked downstairs to go get me medicine I layed my head back. Then I was underwater.

Stefan's POV:

I read the letter while going downstairs and I walked into the kitchen to get Leah aspirin and water. Then I heard rustling notices. I looked at Damon and he heard it to we vamped upstairs to the bathroom and I pulled Aleah from underwater. She gasped for air as I wrapped her in a towel. "Someone pushed me under I didn't see who....but there was someone...holding me... Underwater." Damon and I looked at each other and he immediately called Caroline. "Hey Caroline is the cabin still available to use." "Why what's going on." "We have a problem."

"Well sign this and it will only be you to tell who comes in or out." Leah signed the paper and now the cabin is hers. "You guys can come in." Then Damon Elena Caroline and I walked in. I walked over to her and kissed her forehead. "We're safe now okay." "Yeah I know." "Bonnie said is someone from the other side its collapsing and its trying to reach out to someone." "But who."

Elena's POV:

How long will stefan and I keep the secret that he killed Enzo from damon and Aleah. Enzo almost killed her. I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see Caroline getting out games. "Uh why are there games." "Its going to be game night so it would ease all the stress off of everyone especially Aleah and Stefan." "True well I'm hungry any blood bags." "Yeah in the fridge." I walked over to the fridge and got a blood bag.

Caroline's POV:

Okay I got the wine and the games and some corona under Aleah's condition its all she drink which I don't mind I just hope this game night will ease her stress. "Okay guys! Come on its game night! Including beer wine and bourbon." Everyone was in the living room in a matter of seconds and Aleah had a beer in her hand and drinking it. "Okay first is would you rather."
