Chapter 54: Let her go.

Tyler's POV:

I watched as Marcel walked away I looked back at Aleah and Klaus. He was right no matter if I wanted to believe it or not. No matter how much I loved her. Klaus would always be better for her and being out that smile and the beauty in her. I slowly shut the door. I turned to walk back downstairs to see Damon and his bag. "Lockwood where's my room." "Down the hall to the right next to Aleah's." "Thanks. And next time don't be a creeper." He walked to his room and shut the door and I decided I needed to go for a run.

Klaus's POV:

I woke up all sweaty and gasping for air. I looked at Leah still sound asleep I walked over to the balcony and breathed slower. I had a dream of everyone dying. Including Aleah it scared me the most to see her die in front of me by my friend and enemy Stefan. I stared out in the woods to see the wolfs on standby. I breathed calmer knowing she is safe here. "Everything alright." I turned to see Leah right behind me. "Yes love just thinking." "Klaus you're hot come inside." She pulled me inside and sat me on the bed. She went into the bathroom and grabbed a wash rag and put cold water on it. And then placed it on my forehead. "What's going on Nik." "I had a bad dream." "About.?" "Losing you." She looked at me. "How?" "By Stefan." She looked at me in the eyes. "You're not going to loose me Nik no matter how much you try." She smiled and put the wash cloth in the dirty clothes I walked up to her and I kissed her. She was right I wasn't going to loose her because I am going to protect her if it risks my life then so be it I will never let anyone hurt her. I pulled her up and she wrapped her legs around me and I couldn't stop kissing her.

I woke up in the morning to see Leah was gone. I frowned and I sat up to see her come out from taking a shower. "Good morning Nik." She walks over and grabbed some clothes. "Good morning love." She got dressed and so did I. I want to talk to her about last night but I don't know what to say. I walked out and walked downstairs to the kitchen. I pulled out food and started to make breakfast. Leah was reading her book as she always does. I love how she reads her mind is more open and accepting and wise than any other girl I know. I fixed her plate and handed her the plate I watched how she ate and read her book. She gave me her plate and walked outside. I washed off her plate and ate my food.

Aleah's POV:

I walked outside after eating and I felt the sun hit my face. It was warm and I listened to my surrounding and heard nothing but peaceful. I smiled and I sat on the pourch swing and I swayed back and forth gracefully. "Hey Lotka." I turned to see Jake. "Hey Jake." He came over and sat with me. "How are you and the whole situation with Stefan thing." "I'm tired of running with Stefan. He changed. I forgave him but I can never forgive myself. I wish everything was back to the way it was where I was in love with him and he was in love with me and we were unstoppable." "But.." "But it will never happen again.. A chipmunck asked me my name today. I told him it was Joe and that lie will haunt me forever." We both looked out and swayed gracefully listening to our surrounding.

Jake went home after we spent a couple hours talking. I went inside and saw my dad. "Hey dad." I walked up and hugged him and started to cry. "Shhhh baby girl shhh its okay I got you now no one will ever hurt you again I promise shhh." "Why dad why him." "I don't know sweetheart just sometimes really terrible things happen to really amazing people." I hugged him tight knowing the only one I had left was my dad. I couldn't go to anyone else but my dad. He was always there. And still is. I will never know how to thank my dad.

"Dad I'm hungry." "Well what do you want to eat I'll make you anything." "My favorite meal?" "Deer steak and mash potatoes and gravy and green beans it is." "Yay!" I smiled and so did he and he went over and made me my favorite meal. I started a fire in the fireplace. I wonder where Tyler went he has been gone for awhile and I started to get worried so I texted Jake to find Tyler and luckily he answered and started a search for Tyler. "Well I didn't know my sister was in town." I looked to see Jasper and Emmet. "Hey guys. You're patrolling me tonight." "Yes we are and we missed you so we decided to see you for awhile." "Do you guys know where Tyler went." They looked at each other and Jasper gave me a note. "Tyler crossed the border last night. And told us to give that to you when you asked where he was." I opened the letter and started to read it.

"My dearest Leah,
I'm leaving for awhile. I needed to clear my head after seeing you with klaus because I know that he would treat you better than me or Stefan could. I fell in love with you all over again but I know that I'm not good for you. I love you Leah its just best for us to be apart than together right now I will be home shortly call me if you need anything or text me or Skype me. As long as your happy I'm happy.

I put down the note and went outside and called Tyler. "Hello.?" "Tyler?" "Yes what's wrong." "Come home I want you home please I miss you please come home." "Do you really want me to come home" "yes I do Tyler. Please please come home for me.." "I'm coming home."
