Chapter 64: Leaving

Damon's POV:

I looked around and notices Stefan was gone. I grabbed my cell and called him. "Damon." "Don't Damon me come back here and have your baby! Your son!" "I can't I'm marked by the huntress and I don't want to put Leah at risk." "I don't care! Leah will be more crushed if you don't come here and have this baby." "Tell her I'm sorry." Then he hung up I threw my phone and it shattered into pieces and then I rushed to Leah who was in her room now holding a baby boy. "Hey dad want to hold Tyler." I smiled and walked over and held him. "He is beautiful." She smiled and started to look around. "Where's Stefan.?" "My time to hold the baby." "Bonnie came in with Jake and I have the baby to Bonnie. "Get him out of here." "Damon" "Get him outta here because leah is not going to like this."

She threw me out the window of the hospital. Then she was holding me by my throat and I couldn't breath. "You let him save you and you could get him here to stay for his own sons birth how dare you.!" "I tried to leah.. I tried.. No matter how much I tried.. He wouldn't budge." She let go of me and jumped back up to her room. I stay out and went to the garden area they had and I sat on the bench and lowered my head. "Damon it wasn't your fault and Leah knows that." " I let him leave i wish that he didn't save me all the time he should have been here....he should have been here." "look at him he opened his eyes Damon. Want to hold him?" I looked at him so calm and i took him gently and kissed him on the forehead. "I'll bring back your dad... I promise you." I smiled and took him back to his mother who got moved to a different room because of what happened. "Dad i'm sorry for what happened i'm just tired of him missing the big things." then we heard a phone buzz it was Leah's.

Aleah's POV:  

I grabbed my phone then i looked at it and it was Stefan. The restraint I have for not wanting to answer but I had too. I missed him. "Hello?" " Leah Baby girl how are you and when did you get out of the operating room?" "About 45 minutes ago." "How's Our son?" I started to cry. "He's Healthy perfect in every way. Dad is holding him and he opened his eyes at Bonnie and Him. Why did you have to do what you did. I wanted you here I would have rather picked you instead of my dad because i'm always loosing you and i'm tired of this. Please please come back for our son..for me." there was a pause and I looked at how my dad was rocking tyler back and forth to get him to sleep. "I can't. I can't risk putting you in danger. I love you Leah and I love our son so so much. i will see you soon I promise." then he hung up. Can this day just get better. i wish he was here.

Jake came in after the call. He came over and laid with me on the hospital bed and comforted me. "He'll come back I promise." " How do you know he didn't even stay to make sure I was okay or if our son was okay all he was worried about was his life. I would have died just for my son and see him be born and kiss me one last time. No matter what i've done I would have stayed for our son." "Leah salvatore?" "yes" I looked at the nurse and she had my clothes. " You can go home now if you would like." I nodded and Jake helped me get ready even though i was still sore he helped. "Okay dad time for the baby in the car seat." "No I get to put him because he is my grandson and knowing me this is going to be the last time I see him for awhile." I looked at my dad confused. He came over and kissed me on my forehead. "Take care of yourself now." "Dad where are yo-" then he vanished. I looked over at my son crying. "I know I am sad too bubba come on lets take you home." i picked the car seat and headed to the front doors.

Soon enough we were heading back to home. But i couldn't help but think that Klaus is still alive and would want to see his godson. "Jake can we go to-" "Already on it love i kinda figured when we passed the sign saying Mystic Falls." I smiled and layed my head on the head rest and looked at my son sleeping. "You'll be safe where I'm taking you I promise." I knew Jake heard me. I had to do what I knew was right and that was to protect my son. His father is the only person that I love and I'm not about to loose him again. We soon arrived to Klaus's house and I got out and Kol was already there and taking out Tyler. I walked over and he was holding him gently and he placed a kiss on his little forehead. "He looks a lot like his father Leah." "He does doesn't he. He knows daddy and mommy love him very much. and Kol i need you to do something for me." 

Kol's POV:

"What do you mean take him somewhere safe Leah he is just born and needs his mother." "He also needs his father too Kol and I plan on coming back with or without stefan no matter what that cost is. I love stefan I gave my soul to him and i will not stand for Tyler growing up without a father. Kol he needs his father don't let him suffer that fate without one." she kissed my cheek and got in the car and left. In my hands I hold the littlest Mikaelson in the world. I will protect him with my life. I will not let her down.
