Castiel watched Dean's face carefully. Etched into the very fibers of his skin, stretched out among his facial features, the tightness of his eyebrows, the squinting of his eyes, the hardness of his mouth and jaw protruded anger.
"Why......" He trailed off, his bottom lip quivering in pure rage. He couldn't speak, couldn't stop glaring at the wall, imagining the horrific thing Cas just told him.
"Dean....." He wanted to reach out, to hold him, but he was scared. Scared he didn't want to hold someone as impure as he is. His fingers twitched with the ache to touch him but the fear held them back. His eyes burned, the corners of his eyes wetting with unshed tears, and his chest began burning with the held back sob. He could deal with a lot of things, but if Dean Winchester didn't want him anymore he didn't know what he would do. Finally Dean looked at him, his mouth open as if he was going to say something, but at the exact moment he looked at Cas, Castiel allowed the tears to flow freely. Dean's face fell, all the anger fading away and sadness taking it's place.
"Oh, Cas." He whispered, and he gently touched his shoulder, pulling him to him.
Castiel obliged, pressing his face into Dean's black T-shirt as the sobs began to rack his body. One hand was between them while the other gripped his shirt like a lifeline, and Dean wrapped his arms around him tightly, holding all the little pieces of Cas together.
