"What the fuck happened to you Winchester?" Jo smiled cynically, her eyebrows raised. Dean glared at her, his mouth in a straight line.
He looked like a wreck. His lip was busted, he walked with a limp and he was bruised in all the wrong places. He ached all over, and everyone was looking at him suspiciously, but they were not even close to the actual reason. They all thought that he had gotten into a fight and lost, and no matter how many times he protested or just flat out told them no they thought he was lying to protect his ego. Fucking criminals.
"Dean, when do you think this will heal?" Cas touched the edge of his lip gingerly, making Dean wince. He instantly let his hand drop, guilt written all over his face and Dean sighed.
"It's okay Cas, It doesn't even hurt that bad."
"Hey buddy." Dean glanced up to see Luci, the boy who saved him from a fight, plop down in front of him with a shit eating grin. Castiel instantly stood, his face grave and his slender hands that just a moment earlier were so gentle were balled into white knuckle fists. Gabriel seemed to show up out of nowhere, gripping his arm hard and whispering something.
"Cas?" He glanced down, his usually soft eyes hard and cold.
"I'll talk to you later Dean." Then he stomped away, Gabriel sending one last glare toward both Dean and Luci before running after him.
"What the hell?" He mumbled under his breath.
"Well that was rude."
Dean looked at Luci, trying to figure out what he wanted from him. After a moment of complete silence he sighed, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose like a father who just caught his kindergartner drawing on the wall.
"Dean, do you remember when you tried to get killed that day, and I saved you? Hm, well you see now, I remember and it's not a pleasant memory. " He rambled on, his fingers touching in an almost comical villain way in front of him.
"What do you want." Dean did not phrase this as a question because it was evident that he wanted something, but he didn't answer right away, instead allowing the silence to steadily become heavier and heavier.
He leaned forward, his lips brushing Dean's ear as he breathed a single phrase.
"I want you to get me out like you did with dear, old, Cas." Dean's eyes became saucers as he leaned away, a self satisfied smirk plastered to him like a mask. Dean noticed that none of the emotion he played ever reached his eyes, not really and for a second he wondered what fucked up beast roamed in his head.
"Dean?" He said in a sing song voice, breaking through the panic, not for his well being but for Castiel's.
"I-I don't know wh-"
"C'MON DEAN." Dean and Jo jumped , but everyone else didn't even flinch or glance their way, like this was a normal thing.
"I know you snuck lil' Cas out for a big ol' fuuucckkk party." His voice was lower but it still held the venom in each word.
"I just want the same, orrrr I'll drop a little hint to the guards that a fag is sneaking out, and maybe I'll even tell them who said faggot is. " Dean stared at him, weighing the pros and cons, the risks. He knew what would happen, what this place would do to him and Cas both. Horrid images of totrtures and nightmares beyond the legal raced around his head, nipping his panic into a frenzy. He could feel his heart against his ribs, beating so hard and fast it was painful.
"I..... I didn't get us out." Luci raised a single eyebrow in accusation.
"I didn't, you think I'm smart enough to do something like that?"
"I think you're too smart for your own good."
"Listen. I'm telling you, it wasn't me. Gabriel got us out." Luci puckered his lips, nodding his head.
"I not surprised little brother got his dirty hands in the cookie jar." Dean's eyebrows crinkled in surprise. The voice he took wasn't at all the voice you take when talking about family.
"Thanks Deanie." He stood and walked away, leaving Jo and him in the most tense silence ever.
"So.... You're queer?" Dean started glaring at Jo and prepared to snap back a sassy retort , but when he noticed the smile on her face he stopped.
"Me too." Dean sighed, thinking about how disappointed Ash was going to be.

"You ratted me out to fucking Lucifer!" Dean huffed, trying to push Gabriel away but he just pressed harder, pushing against the wall harder. Castiel stood, watching tensly.
"I had to. He knew about it already and he said he was gonna snitch Castiel out if I didn't it."
"Cas or you?"
"What ever you may think of me Gabriel." He shoved him back, snarling at him.
"I don't snitch out my friends."
Gabriel went to go after him again, but this time Castiel interfered. Gabriel glared at Cas for a second before glancing back at Dean.
"Let's get one thing straight, you and me are not friends." He turned and stomped away, leaving Dean alone with Cas.
"You mad at me too?" Castiel sighed and looked at Dean. His eyes were different, and Dean saw that they were closed off.
"No." He walked over to Dean, wrapping his arms around his chest and burying his face in his shoulder, enveloping him in him. Dean sagged against him, sighing. He could deal with the entire world hating him, but if Castiel had hated him.......
