After Dean unpacked, he sat on his bed, trying to figure out if he should explore or just sit here. After a few minutes of speculation, a very nasally voice awnsered it for him. The intercom crackled before the voice spoke.

"Everybody report back to your dorms. Wait until an escort arrives to..." Dean stopped listening, laying back on his bed with his favorite book, the Grapes of Wrath. He's read it thousands of times, and when he's not engrossed in anything else, he always reads it.

The door creaked as he settled down, trying not to knock over his guitar case. He looked up, and his eyes met the bluest color he's ever seen. He stared at them for what felt like forever, but must've been only seconds. When the boy turned toward the younger one behind him, Dean checked him out.

The boy was sculpted. More lean than bulky, like his brother. But if Sam keeps working like he does, he's gonna have the same build as Dean. Every bare piece of skin was covered with a tattoo, and that pleased him. He could imagine running his fingers along the ink, studying them all.

Dean took one more glance before returning to his book, scooting so the boy was out of his view and started reading, ignoring the deep gravely voice that sent shivers down his spine. He hoped that voice belonged to blue eyes over there.

An old man with a cane came and got them, to make sure there wasn't  any trouble. Which didn't make any sense, one of the smallest girls here could take him easily.

But that didn't seem to matter. He took control instantly, and after a few idol threats and wild gestures of the cane, they were off down the hallway toward the assembly.

Dean stood in the back, half listening to Ash talk about gadgets and half listening to blue eyes, who the gravel voice does belong to. He was talking to the other kid, Benny, and Dean couldn't hear what he was saying, just the sound of his voice.

When they walked into the "gym" which was just a large room, no stands or padded floors, just concrete walls and groups of kids clumped together, Dean took one last look at angel face. He was gorgeous.

Ash ran over to Johanna, the girl from the car who was standing alone in the corner. Dean started to follow when a hand grabbed his forearm. He turned around quickly, ready for a fight, when warm brown eyes met his green ones.

"Dean?" The boy grinned, and recognation rang in Dean's head.

"Gabriel Novak. Long time no see." Gabriel nodded, his hand slipping away from his bicep.

"Yea Winchester. Been here for awhile." He gestured around him. "So what are you in here for?" Dean smiled sheepishly.

"I got caught with it again." Dean didn't need to go into details, he's never tried any other drug, except acid but that won't happen again, bad trip. Deans father has always been a real bad druggie, and there are some drugs he refuses to try.

Gabriel nodded. "That'll getcha every time." He looked over to a group of guys, one of them blue eyes, and then looked toward Dean again.

"Wanna join us?" Dean looked from blue eyes to Ash and back, wanting to know his name so badly. But he shook his head. Ash was his responsibility now, and no one will get in the way.

"Nah. But hey, who's blue eyes over there?" Gabriel looked to where Dean pointed, his face sliding from confusion to pure giddiness.

"That, my boy, his Castiel Novak. My brother."
