Dean groaned as his escort drove him up to the gates of the school, and his head hit the seat. He shut his eyes, screwing them shut and imagining he was at home, cooking breakfast for himself and his little brother. When Sam found out he freaked. He wouldn't have anybody to take care of him anymore, what with their dad always being gone. He called Bobby, his uncle, and made him promise to care for Sam while he was gone, but even with him being with Bobby, he was nervous leaving him behind.
"Dean look?!" His over excited "partner" said. When he was picked up, there was one more kid in there, actually two, but the girl hasn't said anything, just grunting an answer when the kid, who's name was Ash, talked to her. She hadn't uttered a single word to him, and Dean was a little sore over it. He wasn't used to being ignored by women.
Ash got into some trouble by hacking into the governments system and changing all the names of the secret agents to stupid names like "dick coyote" and "fartmister". It took them a year to find him, and a year to clean up his mess. He wasn't that bad of a kid actually, younger than Dean, only fifteen, so Dean promised himself he would protect this kid. He was too small to possibly be able to defend himself if any of these kids tried to fuck with him.
"I see it Ash." It was a huge concrete building with huge columns out front, and long green vines climbing the building. There were kids lounging about, most looking like they just got out of prison, but Dean wasn't looking at the structure or the kids. He was looking at the huge metal gates that surrounded the whole thing. Dangerous looking spikes covered the top, the same fences they had surrounding juvy. It looked like they were trying to keep something out but Dean knew they were actually trying to keep them in.
The driver pulled up and let them out, throwing their bags out before roaring up the driveway and out of the gates into the free beyond. The girl picked up two huge suitcases with ease, and Dean picked up the large duffel bag laying at his feet, throwing it over his shoulder and reminding him of that scene in the remake of footloose where that kids that pretended to be Kevin bacon first arrived in that town.
Ash had a small laptop case that was full of valuables, but not a lot of clothes, making it lightweight. Dean picked it up and carried it in, Ash smiling and thanking him as a small lady with straight black hair showed them their rooms.
The girl, who he found out was called Johanna, was roomed with three other girls, all with tight clothes and brightly colored hair. One girl winked at Dean, and Dean smiled at her. Ash was put into the same room as Dean, a kid named Benny on one of the top bunks. There was clothes on the bottom bunk underneath Benny, but no kid. the name tag read "Castiel Novak" and Dean felt a shimmer of deja vu rush through him. Where had he heard that name before?
