It had been a drama full evening. Dylan needing time away was obviously a problem, and Vintage dealing with home issues and drama with her mom. It was as though at this point, everything was going downhill for the both of them.
*Vintage POV*
I had a headache when I woke up, and my body felt all sluggish like. Dylan was on my right shoulder; his right arm around my waist. He was wrapped around me like a kid that had nightmares would be wrapped around their mom in the middle of the night. I tried moving him, but he was basically leeching onto me.
"Dylan, please get up. I have to pee."
He just groaned at me, and gripped me tighter.
"Dylan seriously, cmon. My bladder is killing me."He released himself from me, but he had an attitude. He quickly turned over, as if he was shunning me. Frankly, I did not care.
"Go. Just go. You don't want to hold me, fine."
I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"It was more like YOU, were holding onto ME."I got up, out of the bed. I felt so light on my feet. Almost to the bathroom door, a pillow hit the back of my head.
"Really Dylan?!" I laughed, but deep down I was aggravated with it.
"Whatcha gonna do about it Delerose?"
Childish.
As mad as I was at him last night, I just couldn't help but to feel this feeling in my stomach about him when I saw his face. His sandy brown eyes, perfect jawline, messy hair in the morning..his smile.
Just Dylan, and he's all mine.

Despite good moods, I still felt the need to talk things out, or else it'll hang over my head."Dylan, can we talk?"
He looked so peaceful over there on his Mac. I almost didn't want to bother him. I loved when he looked focused. His eyebrows looked so perfectly arched, sometimes better than mine, and that's bad. When he gets into his technology, he's INTO it. He basically ignored me. I already knew I'd have to repeat myself about five times.
"Dylaaaaaaaan O'Brien, I know you hear my voice. Unglue your eyes from the damn Mac, and look at your girlfriend for a second."
"Wait. This is important. Very..
Important."I'm sure it was probably some stupid little computer game he plays.
I just put my hand on my hip and stood there."Five minutes Dyl. Seriously."
"Fine, whatever dude. Cool. Just a sec. I love you babe."
Ugh, it just wasn't funny. I really needed to talk to him. His technology got in the way of that.
"Love you too."
He threw yet another pillow at me, but this time dead smack in my face."Where's the I in that?"
"I LOVE YOU TOO OBRIEN! Dammit!"
I launched the pillow right back at him.I walked out of the room and went into my moms room. She was in front of the mirror again. Actually, she was in front of that mirror a lot lately. Her skin was wrinkling, hair color was fading, and she looked like the life was being sucked out of her soul.
"Hey..mom."
She looked at my reflection in the mirror and gave me a heartwarming smile; the smile I haven't seen in a while. Mm, my moms smile was just the best thing to me."Hi sweetheart. How are thou today?"
"Eh, could be better considering what happened between me and the guy in the other room. He barely talks to me when he's playing his stupid games."
My mom smacked her teeth.
"You know, you shouldn't call what he likes stupid honey. Consider joining him in his passions. Sadly, the fellow has ways like your father. Your father lives reading newspaper, and he liked to play video games. You have to learn to just adapt to it like I did. They mean no harm at all. I'm old, but I still pick up on things, and I still know! Haha."I took no humor in that.
"Mom, do you still love dad?"
She looked up at my reflection in the mirror again, giving me her undivided attention away from the brush and makeup. She turned around so she could meet me face to face."Of course Vintage. Why do you ask?"
"Because ever since he died, you've changed. You have me, ya, but don't you think you could use someone extra in your life? Ya know, another man..Like I have.."
"No no child. I'm far too deep into life for dating, to start all over. Do you see my wrinkles!? Your young, enjoy the excitement while you can sweetie. My excitement is far gone! Don't worry about me, I have you."
I just gave her a nonchalant smile, hugged her, and kissed her forehead. Deep down, I was worried about my mom..my worry for her grew everyday.
"Do you mind if Dylan and I take your car to go out?"
"What's wrong with his jeep?"
"We-well I just want to ride in something different. Riding around in that jeep is scary, it makes weird sounds. He's letting it sit in the driveway till he gets it checked out and passed emissions."
"Sure, go ahead. NO speeding! Do not crash my car, or you'll be the one paying for the damages, and I do not think you have a job. That goes for whoever is gonna be behind that steering wheel."
"Got it, got it, got it."
Vintage grabbed the keys off of her moms dresser next to her, kisses her mom on the cheek and rushed for the door.
"Dylan, let's go. Waiting on you!"
