Dylan's Pov

It was early in the morning. I looked out the window, and it was very bright. Vintage wasn't in my arms, although I heard the shower running. She might have been in there. I walked down stairs to find Ms. Delerose grabbing her keys and purse.

"Oh, Good morning. Off to the daily grind?" I smirked and let out a little giggle.

"Yes sir, I am. Make sure Vintage is okay. They say she might be light headed for a while."

"Yeah, okay."

"Thanks honey, and thank you for babysitting for me haha."

She walked out, and the house was left silent.
**
To learn more about me, my name is Dylan. Yes, I have parents. My mom and I are the only ones now though. My dad cheated on my mom, and she divorced him. My mom isn't as concerned as "normal" mother's are. She's not even currently at home. She's in Vegas, on "vacation", with her "guy". I don't like him. He basically controls my mom like she's his pet or some shit.

I heard a door upstairs open.

"Vintage?" I yelled.

I didn't get any answer.

"Vintage?" I called out to her again.

STILL, no answer.

I open the door to find her wrapped in a towel, brushing her hair. She was so pretty.

"Vintage.."

She turned around, startled.

"Oh! Dylan, hi!" she was embarrassed.

"Heeyyy.."

"What are you doing here..in my house..in my room.."

"Umm, I was sort of asked to stay here with you."

"By whom?"

"Your mom, she had me stay."

"Now we can catch up."

**

We both had gotten dressed. She approached me so sudden.

"Dyl, why aren't we at school?"

"Because, we have to keep out until you fully recover."

"I am recovering, I feel good. Just my head hurts. I'm surprised your here."

Yeah, me too.

"Ha, me too. What are best friends for though."

I was getting a phone call, and it was Ms. Delerose.

She mentioned money on the table.

"Vintage, your mom left us money. We can go to Arbys."

"Yeah, because I'm hungry."

We headed to Arbys..
