I woke up this morning feeling good, actually. It was the first time in a long time. I actually wanted to do something with myself to make myself look presentable. I mean, I guess since I had to attend the hell hole.

I took a shower and got dressed. I wore a pink see-through blouse, with a white tank top under. I had floral leggings, so I threw those on with the blouse. I had some flower sandals, that had gray in them. My toes were painted, so I didn't have to do that.

"Morning Vin. I'm off to work, I love you, and remember what I told you yesterday." mom said.

"I got it mom, thanks." I said in a bitter way.

"You look....beautiful today. What's got you so happy? You met a boy?" Mom was teasing me.

This "guy", was Dylan. And we already met.

"No mom."

"I know my own daughter. I know that she doesn't just dress up like this. Only on occasion."

She walked off. Mom never talked to me about boys. She never even mentioned boys. She left me in wonder quite a lot and it made me want to explore myself.

I got a text from Dylan. It read: Hey, come outside. I thought we'd ride to school together.

I reply: Okay, really? I was just walking out. :)

I walked outside and Dylan was right there in the drive way.

"Vintage, whats gotten into you?"

"I just felt good today, and I feel like It's gonna be a good day. Do you like it, or are you complaining?"

"Ooooh No..I don't like it.."

I got a little offended, but waited for him to finish his sentence.

"I LOVE it. Ha, gotcha. Don't take this in the wrong way, but you should dress up a lot more. You look pretty."

"I don't think so, but thank you Dyl. You've always been so sweet."

We backed out of the drive way, and he burned rubber, trying to show off.

The rest of the ride was sorta silent. Before we knew it, it was a red Camero car coming towards us at the stop light. Our light was red, so we had no other choice but to be stationary. I felt a sudden rush. I knew something bad was about to happen.

We got hit.
