*Vintage POV*
I went back to my room to find Dylan still in his laptop. Shit, I was ready to go. I have said the same stuff so many times; I sound like a broken record when it comes to him. ONLY Dylan."Impressive O'Brien. No surprise. While I'm sitting here waiting in my moms car, your sitting here with your face stuck in your laptop. You still don't listen. I think that lap top is shrinking your brain."
He smacked his lips at me. He closed his laptop and it made a loud smacking sound. He gave me his undivided attention and crossed his hands and put them in his lap.
"Very fucking funny. Anyway, You weren't waiting THAT long. I mean, not really. You think just because I'm in my laptop means I'm deaf Delerose? No babe. I can hear. And to answer your question, yes, I'd like to go out with you."

Dylan sounded aggravated by the noises he was making in the bathroom."Stop trying so hard. Your acting like a girl."
Dylan was in the mirror brushing his hair; totally disregarding what I said.
"Vintage, gel or no?" He looked frustrated and I thought it was funny.
"Why are you trying so hard? Your trying to look good for me babe? Haha."
He tossed the brush into the sink and made a loud mutated animal sound.
"Vin it isn't funny. I need help. Girls have it so natural. I mean, look at you, your beautiful and guys go through hell just to get a little hair in place." He was whining and I thought it was so cute. I walked in the bathroom and got behind him to see a better view of him in the mirror. He turned around to face me but I turned him back around so he could see himself. His eyes got wide and he gave me a little grimacing smile.
What he said was absolutely, 100%, undeniably incorrect. Girls take longer in the bathroom than guys. We DO NOT have it easy. He was just trying too hard. In my eyes, he looked so perfect. He doesn't even have to try.
"Babe, cmon. Your seriously acting like a girl."
"Where are we even going? I know nothing."
"STOP. We're gonna take my moms car, and maybe go back to the lake..food or no food?"
He took my wrists and brought them down to him.
"The lake? The lake brings back so many memories. Remember the time you kissed me and ran home?"
I laughed. "So we aren't gonna talk about that okay? Food or no food??" My cheeks got so red.
"No, let's talk about it. Seriously. I mean, cmon, when was the last time we had a serious conversation? Oh, and food."
He was right. Ever since we started dating, we just don't have the same connection. Before then, we barely argued..really never said anything negative to one another. Every moment of everyday was good with Dylan. Dating my best friend has been so complicated and weird..but you know what, I have not one single regret.
"Let's talk when we get there, k? For now, let's wash all of this gel out of your hair and get you fixed. This is something a kid would do to themselves, shame."
I ran the sink water and stuck his head in the sink.
"Umm, OW! The water is too hot!"
"Deal with it little baby."
I went to the shower to get the shampoo and conditioner.
"Just fix it."
