Vintages Pov
I woke up from a nice rest. Mom had risen from bed. It was a weekend, so she didn't have work. She must've been up getting the paper or something.
I walked down stairs, and smelled some of my favorite meat cooking, beef.
"Mom, that smells good." I smiled and yawned.
"It's for you! I know your going through." she poked her lip out at me.
"Mom, I don't think he'll ever come back. I mean, he didn't even give us a chance." I began to cry.
"You can't go back into your depression honey, you just can't. I'm sure Dylan will come around. He's scared honey. Love is different for boys. They aren't always open to it."
Fuck boys.
"I'm gonna go for a drive okay? I'll be back soon." I needed to free my mind.
I went to grab my moms keys, and my hand bag.
"Don't wreck the car." she yelled. "Come back for breakfast too!" I walked out of the door, got into the car, and drove off.
Dylan's Pov
I was up for quite a while. All I could think about was Vintage. I didn't know if we were ever gonna come back from this. My mom came bursting in my room, ruining my train of thought.
"Dylan, get up!"
"Umm. You see I'm up right? The hell mom?"
I rolled my eyes, and grabbed my phone and head phones. I began to play my music. The giant asshole walked in my room, and stood in the door way.
"Hey, boy." I said sarcastically, and waved.
He walked over to me, snatched me by my shirt and threw me onto the wall.
"Dude, what the hell!" I yelled. I started to punch him in the face. It wasn't phasing him, so I kicked him in his junk. He dropped me, and I hurried and scooted in the other direction.
"Mom! Your just gonna let him Do that to me??"
"Honey, don't be disrespectful." she looked at him, and rushed to his rescue. I looked at her, and rolled my eyes..
I needed to talk to my best friend. I had Vin on speed dial, so I called. She didn't answer.
I was rushing. I hurried and grabbed my keys.
"Where the hell are you going?" my mom screamed at me.
"Somewhere, where people care about me." my mom really pissed me off sometimes.
I got my brown jacket, and put on my chucks and rushed down stairs to the door.
Vintage was calling me back.
"Hello?"
"Vin. Can I come over please?"
"I'm not home Dylan. Plus, why would you come over? You just broke up with me."
"Forget all that, can we please meet at your house? I need to talk to you."
"I'll be there in a second." she hung up really fast.
I started my car.
**
I was already at Vintages house. She hadn't made it yet.
I knocked on the door, and mom answered.
"Hey Honey! Come on in.."
I walked in a little nervous.
"Have a seat."
"Thanks. Can we um.. talk?"
"I'm here to listen."
This was about to get serious.
