10: "You....did....WHAT!?"

/ 3rd person's POV /

(Y/N) woke up a bit more lately today, around 12am. Since the events of yesterday, she really needed all that rest. As she woke up, she looked right away if Tomoe was still laying next to her, but he sadly wasn't. According to that, (Y/N) thought straight away if she just dreamed everything that happened or if it was real.

'Let's find it out' she thought and got dressed, made her (h/c) hair to a ponytail, wolf ears and tail shown and went out of her room, searching for Tomoe. While that, she met Nanami.

"Nanami-chan!", she called out and smiled.

"Oh, good morning (Y/N)", Nanami greeted her with a smile.

"Morning. To get straight to the point: Do you know where Tomoe is?"

"I saw him in the garden a few minuites ago, doing his chores.", Nanami replied with a smile and (Y/N) instantly ran towards the garden, opening the door and looking for Tomoe.
And exactly there he was.
He stood in the garden with his long hair tied together and a broom in his hand while he looked at a bird who just flew on his hand. (Y/N) smiled at the sight of this peacful scene.

"(Y/N)? Are You okay?", Tomoe suddenly said, breaking her out of trance. Y/N smiled and noded, than she slowly walked up to him.

"Uhm...so...pretty...though and meaningful day yesterday, huh?", (Y/N) asked, wanting to go sure that yesterday wasn't just another joke that a dream played on her.

"Hm? Why meaningful? Maybe tough because of that rescue thing but besides that...there was nothing else", the yokai said with a shrug, making (y/n)'s eyes wide. Than he started laughing.

"C'mon sweetheart, I'm just joking. Of course I remember what happened yesterday". She breathed out in relief and placed a kiss on Tomoe's cheek, making him smile.

"You jerk, I almost got scared there!", she giggled, Tomoe along with her.

"Sorry, Sorry. I didn't mean to. Say, you just woke up, didn't you? Do you want me to make you something to eat?", Tomoe asked and smiled gently. (Y/N)'s ears twitched and she smiled, noding. Tomoe than walked with her back into the shrine to their kitchen and (y/n) sat down at the table, waiting for Tomoe to make her food.

/ Your POV /

I waited for Tomoe to make my food and already saw what he was making. (Favourite Food)! I haven't eaten that in ages! My tail swang to the left and right as Tomoe placed the plate in front of me and than sat down next to me. It didn't took really long for me to eat the whole thing.

"Don't eat so fast", Tomoe chuckled, but I already finished eating and he put the plate away. I thanked him for the awesome food with a bright smile. Tomoe than came back and sat down next to me again, his arms wrapped around me.

"So...later I have to go and buy some things....care to join me?", Tomoe asked me and I noded. Little, nice date kinda thing, right?

About an hour later, me and Tomoe were out in the city while Nanami stayed at the shrine and worked a bit with her landgod powers. The first place where I went with Tomoe was the supermarket where he bought...well, food, of course. After that we walked a bit around town and I stopped at a shop wich was selling all kinds of kimonos.

"(y/n)?", Tomoe suddenly called out and I waved him over to me.

"Tomoe-kun! I have to go there and look for some kimonos,can we go inside and look around? pleaaaaaaaaase?", I asked him with puppy eyes. He sighed and noded after seeming to have a battle against his thoughts. So we went inside and I spotted a ( Favourite Colour ) coloured kimono with ( Now: Imagine your perfect kimono ^^ ). I walked to it and took a closer look. It was perfect!

"Tomoe! Tomoe! Take a look at this one!", I walked over to him with the kimono in my hands and a big smile on my lips. He took a closer look as well and shrugged.

"I think you have to try it on", he said with a slight smile and I "vanished" into the dresser and came out with the kimono.

"And? How do I look~", I asked Tomoe and posed a little bit, chuckling slightly.

"Absoloutley beautiful". And of course, I bought the kimono.

We finished our little shopping trip soon after that and went back to the shrine. As we stood in front of it, we suddenly heard a male voice talking. The voice sounded kinda...like a child.

"Is Nanami having guests?", I quietly asked Tomoe who placed a hand on my shoulder and shrugged, than he went inside.

"Nanami!? Who did you invite without asking me!?", Tomoe yelled through the whole shrine while I was behind him and covered my ears. He walked to Nanami's room and opened the door where we saw Nanami with a white-haired boy.

"Who the heck is this!?", Tomoe asked with anger. The boy smirked slightly at Tomoe and his emerald, snake like looking eyes lighted slightly up.

"Oh~ Hello you two. I hope you had a good day", he said kindly. I kinda remembered this boy, but I wasn't able to recall his name..

"(Y/N), Tomoe...this is Mizuki", Nanami said and smiled, the boy did so too.

"Mizuki..? Where the heck did you find him!?", Tomoe asked with anger in his voice. I placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled slightly.

"Tomoe, please. We have a guest, be a bit more polite", I advised him and chuckled slightly, than I walked over to Mizuki and introduced myself.

"Hi, I'm (y/n) (l/n). It's a pleasure to meet you, Mizuki.". Mizuki smiled brightly and took my hand, shaking it. From the corner of my eye I could see Tomoe boiling with anger as he touched my hand.

"It's nice to meet you, (y/n)", Mizuki said. I have to admit: On first look, he is really cute.

"Yes, yes, now you can stop shaking her hand.", Tomoe suddenly spoke up, a tick mark at his head. I chuckled slightly and Mizuki let go off my hand, than he turned to Tomoe with a smirk.

"Why hello there Tomoe-kun! Seems like you are chasing after (y/n) again", he said and Tomoe suddenly formed a fox fire in his hand.

"I am going to grill you here and now if you dare to say anything bad about me or her. Got it?", Tomoe said through grinted teeth and I quickly walked between the two.

"Tomoe, please...!", I whispered, than I heard Nanami speaking up.

"Now, now. Can we please stop fighting? You two have to get along with each other as long as Mizuki is here!".
Now me and Tomoe were looking in pure shock at Nanami.

"Excuse me- what?", I gasped out and Nanami smiled at me.

"Mizuki lives all alone in a shrine far away from here so I decided to make him my familiar!"

"You....did.....WHAT!?"
