15: Horrible

|| Your POV ||

"Oh (Y/N)~ How is my favourite wolf doing?". I heard his awful voice echoing through the hall. I opened my eyes and looked at him. The King slowly came closer to me and grabbed my chin, making me look at him. I struggled against the chains with wich I was held in place and tried to look away from him.

"It's almost time. Soon I will get my eye back...just one more day", the king said while he grinned at me. I growled slightly and tried once again to get out of his grip.

"Believe me, I and Tomoe will free ourselves and than sent you to hell!", I yelled at him, showing my sharp, wolf like teeth. He chuckled and let go of me, leaving the hall.

I just need a little more time...than I can help Tomoe...

|| Narrators POV ||

Tomoe, Nanami and Mizuki were on their way. As soon as the next morning settled in, the three of them said their goodbyes to (Y/N) and went to get some medicine that will cure (Y/N) as long as she has that medicine in her body. The eye of the Sea King. But Tomoe didn't tell Nanami and Mizuki what exactly they were going to get.

"Tomoe, how long do we have to travel?", Mizuki asked with a whine. Tomoe sighed deeply.

"Can you shut up? I need to concentrate". With that Nanami and Mizuki simply continued to follow Tomoe's lead, no one saying a word. They were walking a little while longer until Tomoe suddenly stopped.

"If we continue like this we'll need more than a week to get there...", he mumbled and turned to Mizuki.

"Do you have something with wich you can fly?"

"Uhm...I have a snake spirit.", Mizuki replied and let appear a big, white snake next to him. Tomoe grinned.

"Good. Than you and Nanami will fly on that thing and follow my lead like before", Tomoe explained and a few blue, fox fire flames appeared underneath him and lifted him off the ground. He started flying in one direction, Mizuki and Nanami followed him on the snake.

'This is just too perfect...while I steal the eye from the King I just leave these two as victims', the kitsune thought while he chuckled under his breath. He thought that this would be the perfect plan to get the eye and to get rid of Nanami and Mizuki.

~~Timeskip~~

A few hours passed and the trio arrived at a beach wich seemed oddly familiar to Nanami. She gasped as she realized where they were. She mumbled to Mizuki:

"Isn't that our beach where (Y/N) and Tomoe got captured!?"

"Than...Tomoe is going to steal the eye now!", Mizuki whispered back. Tomoe got concerned by their secret talk and turned to them.

"What are you two whispering about?"

"N-nothing!", Nanami quickly exclaimed and smiled. Mizuki did the same.
What Tomoe didn't know: They had a plan as well.

"Anyway; I'm gonna go and get the medicine now while you two wait here.". And with those words, he simply jumped into the water. Nanami and Mizuki looked at each other.

"Okay, if he comes back with the eye, we just-"

"Wait a second, Nanami-sama!", Mizuki interupted her.

"What if (Y/N) dies here without that medicine?". Nanami's face got pale at what Mizuki asked. She thought a little while and sighed.

"Why didn't I think of that!? Doesn't that mean that she won't even exist later on?"

"I think yes..", Mizuki replied and Nanami sighed deeply.

"Than what's the point of this!? We are basically just ruining Tomoe's and (Y/N)'s whole life right now!", Nanami said, now with a louder tone. Suddenly, a loud crash or rather explosion sound echoed through the area. Mizuki jumped in fear and held tightly onto his mistress while she was just looking around, confused and a bit scared. Than Tomoe suddenly jumped out of the water with a purple glowing thing in his hand. He simply ran past Nanami and Mizuki and yelled: "Good Luck!" before he formed some fox fire and flew away. Nanami and Mizuki stared at the sky.

"So...that was his plan", mumbled Mizuki and quickly grabbed Nanami's arm.

"Quick! We gotta get away from here before the king comes!". And with that, Mizuki let his white snake spirit appear and jumped onto it with Nanami, flying away from the beach and the Sea King's...'home'.

"(Y/N)!? (Y/N), are you okay!? Did something happen while I was gone!?", the kitsune sat beside his lover and held her tightly while she caughed nonstop. It almost came to a point where Tomoe thought that she was choking, but she stopped. Her cheeks were slightly flushed and her breathing was heavy, she was in a really bad state. Tomoe prepared water for her and was ready to give her the Sea King's eye wich he stole.

"Here. You will feel better after taking this", he said camly and (Y/N) took the medicine and drank water right away. She coughed a bit and leaned onto Tomoe.

"This...tastes horrible...", she whispered and closed her eyes, relaxing her body. Tomoe caressesed her hair and noded.

"But it'll help you for sure"

"And what do we do now?". Nanami was sitting beside her familiar. They were both back in the present and currently sat on a bench while it was raining in masses. The perfect mood for a failed plan.

"I have no idea, Nanami-sama..."

"How about we save them with weapons!? Swords and...and..shields! And all that..that can work too, right!? .. right...?" Nanami tried to figure out a way to save her two friends.

"There has to be another way! How about we just go to that Sea King guy and make a deal with him!? That can work too! And may-"

"Nanami-sama, look!", Nanami got interupted by her familiar who was pointing at a person in the distance with wide eyes. Nanami looked in that direction and squinted her eyes to get a better look. It was a person who carried another person...

No way....!

A big silence hung between the four persons. They came closer and closer until they suddenly collapsed a few meters away from Nanami and Mizuki. They instantly ran to them and what they saw was...

...simply horrible.
