Bradin’s Pov during beach scene:
I was staring off into the ocean watching Gabriella out the corner of my eye. I saw her look around and focus on a figure in the distance. Turning my head I saw that it was Cayden. My hand's immediately closed into fists and anger coursed through me.
What is he doing here? Is he trying to hurt her even more?
I silently examined Gabriella as she was entirely focused on him. I watched as guilt, pain and a little regret flashed across her beautiful face. My heart dropped, I knew it was too good to be true. She's regretting what she said to him, maybe she is even regretting being with me. I can't believe this is happening.
I turned back towards the ocean feeling heart broken and dejected.
After Sydni I thought I could never love another again and then Gabby came along and slowly built me up again in a matter of weeks and brought out the old me that I had hid for so long.
Maybe I should have told her what I felt instead of telling her I couldn't because I wasn't ready. I was afraid to tell her, I had never told another those words other than Sydni. I was scared she would leave me too if I told her.
As I was lost in my own thoughts, arms being thrown around me caught me by surprise. Was I wrong?
I turned to see Gabriella. She had the most intense look in her eyes and they were full of love…for me?
I smiled becoming overcome with complete affection for this beautiful princess in my arms. I picked her up and spun her around. I then slowly bent down and pressed my lips against hers. As soon as they connected my heart felt like it had stuttered.
No one has made me feel this way in a long time. She completes me. I wrapped my arms around her tighter and looked down at her taking in every inch of her beauty. Her beautiful smile, her bright eyes, her crooked front tooth. I think I'm undeniably in love with this girl.
I then realized that I meant it and I was ready to say it and I would say it over and over every chance I could from here on.
"I love you Gabriella."
