Baz's POV
I came into the kitchen to find a mug of steaming tea and a note underneath.
After class I'm going to get groceries, unless you two want to after work.
"Shit, we have work."
"Can't we just stay at home today? I'm so tired." Moaned Simon as he dragged he feet into the room. I turned around to lean on the counter top.
"No Simon, Penny doesn't work and and we need to pay half the rent" (Penny's parents generously pay the other). "Also we will lose our jobs if we don't go." He now stood in front of me and rubbed my belly, he new what he was doing and wrapped his tail around my waist and started nuzzling my neck.
"Fine! Just this once though!" Simon looked up and grinning like a mad man. And ran around the island and me with it. On his fifth circle I stop him giving him a tight hug. I leaned down and asked
"How can you be so ecstatically happy all the time?"
"S'cause I'm with you." he replied with smile. I kissed that smile (it deserved kissing) and smiled back.
