This chapter may be just a bit more...hot and bothered. LOL. Just for those dirty little Wattpaders.

He wouldn't stop glancing at me. The whole ride. I couldn't deal with it any longer. His consistent looks were literally driving me insane.

"What?! What is it?" I finally mustered up. Vince swallowed and stared at me.

"I'm just wondering if you're sick..." My eyebrows sewed together.

"Sick?" I asked incredulously.

"You're not calling me names or complaining about how much you want to go home. I thought something was wrong." I stared at him.

So when I'm not acting like a scared hostage, hell has frozen over. That's nice. Logic is amazing.

"Eris?" He quickly spoke while making a U-turn.

"How much longer?" I questioned monotonously.

"Um, five minutes or so. Why?" He replied after checking his golden watch.

"Just wondering..." I quietly trailed off.

The rest of the ride was silent. When we arrived, I got out if his vehicle almost immediately and walked straight into the house.

Destination: My room

Transportation: My feet

"Eris!" I heard from downstairs. It didn't stop me though. I was going back into the room and I was staying in there. No matter what. "Eris! What's wrong?!"

Only a couple of more feet and...

"Eris." I was grabbed by the arm and spun around to a breathless Vince. "Why didn't you answer me?"

I crossed my arms. "I don't have to." He squinted his bright eyes at me. For a moment, it was just the both of us glaring at each other. But he beat me. His scrutinizing hazel eyes almost sent me to hell.

Yeah, that's pretty far below ground.

"Look. Kidnapper," I pointed at him, "and Kidnappee." I jabbed my thumb towards my chest. "I was nice to you in the club for just a moment and you somehow get it mixed up with me not being okay. And you're right. I don't want to be here and should be complaining. I should be thinking up escape plans like a mad woman. But I'm not. I really don't know why but for some reason, I know you're the cause of it." I started off.

"Are you saying that I'm keeping you from leaving?" My eyes grew extremely wide.

"Yes!" I shouted at him in a "duh" tone.

"Are you sure," he scratched the back of his head, "I think it's the other way around." The other way around? What the actual fuck.

"That makes no sense at all. I do not recall taking you away from everyone you knew unwillingly." He smirked but it was not like his usual smirks. This one belonged to the Devil himself.

"Remember when you locked yourself up in the room?" I nodded with frustration. "I never left. You being isolated in a locked up room kept me in this house for a straight week. I made sure to keep my voice down after Chase would get here. He was just so I could muster up a brilliant plan to lure you out."

"You're a prick. And, you didn't have to stay here. You could've left whenever you pleased to. That was your stupid ass choice, Vince." Even though I just insulted him, his smirk never faltered.

The amusement in Vince's eyes transfered to something else. Something hungrier. His hazel-brown eyes darkened on me and I caught his eyes glancing at my lips.
