*Max's POV*
I woke up this morning to see yet the same old empty space I have been greeted with for the past week. Yes a week, 7 days. 7 days since things changed. The last 7 days have been nothing but hell. Waking up to no one, cuddling with no one. Things could have been the same, but all because of this misunderstanding, things are different. Way different. I no longer smile, I am no longer happy. I've lost the love of my life.
*Natalie's POV*
During this whole thing I have been thinking about how much Tara needs me. She needs her best friend by her side, not in another country. But I couldn't do it. It might have been too risky. I didn't want Jay to see me. He has to move on and learn to forget about me and the things and feelings we had, so me being there might not be a good idea.
But I didn't care. Tara needs me and she's got me! As soon as I stepped out of that airport, sunglasses and all, I went to the shops to go and get some gifts for Tara. She would need cheering up and I was willing to do everything it took to make her smile again. I walked into the jewellery shop to go and buy her something nice, like really nice, when I noticed a familiar bald head in front of me. He slowly turned as I started to knock into him, purposely of course.
"Excuse me miss, but could you stop swaying, you are knocking me." That almost sounded nice. ALMOST!
"Excuse me 'sir' but could you stop being such a fucking dick to my best friend!" Okay. That didn't sound nice! Oops.
"I'm sorry but do I know you? And who exactly is your best friend?" He was getting angry, and the whole shop had turned their attention to us both.
"Max George you know me very well actually. I was dating your band member and my best friend was dating you. BUT YOU FUCKED THAT UP AND NOW SHE IS MISERABLE. SHE CRIES AND CRIES OVER WHAT YOU DID AND WHAT YOU SAID. MAX, YOU BROKE THE PERSON I CALL MY BEST FRIEND, YOU SICKEN ME. HOW COULD YOU MAX? HOW FUCKING COULD YOU?!" At this point I was attacking him. Full on kicks and punches. He will pay for what he put my best friend through, I will make him pay.
I kept hitting and punching him while he tried to defend himself. I kept going until I was being dragged off him, and into handcuffs??
"Miss Parker, you are under arrest following the assault of Max George, You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights?"
Well fuck.
