*Siva's POV*
It only took me approximately 2 minutes after Tara slapped me for it all to become clear. Tara. I knew I had heard that name before. I never realize when or how but I remembered that name. Then I remembered the face. It all made sense. How she would'nt let any of the boys in her room upstairs. How she was so anrgy when talking to me. How she knew I Found You. It's been so long. Too long. This past week I have spent with the most important person in my life. No, not Nareesha. Tara. The person I spend my whole childhood with. The person I protected whyen no one else was there. The person she would cry too when things came crashing down around her. The person I have spend the past week with. My sister.
As soon as Natalie ran after her I knew it was serious. She must hate me. She must really hate me. I pushed past Jay and Nathan who were applying a cold cloth to my cheek and ran towards to door. Just before I turned the handle, Tom shouted,
"Seev, where are you going?"
"Tom, don't worry about me. Somone else out there needs the love, care and attention right now. I don't care that she slapped me or was so angry with me when we first showed up. She needs me Tom. I have to be the big brother by her side. The big brother that she missed and needs."
And with that, I walked out of the door and called Natalie,
"NATALIE! PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE FOUND HER?! PLEASE NATALIE! PLEASE"
"WHY WOULD YOU CARE SIVA, YOU LEFT HER! YOU LEFT HER WHEN SHE NEEDED YOU MOST! YOU PROMISED SIVA. YOU PROMISED HER THAT YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE BY HER SIDE. SOME FUCKING PROMISE THAT WAS!" She was crying by the end.
"NATALIE, I KNOW HOW MUCH I FUCKED UP OKAY?! I KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN SUCH A DICK! BUT PLEASE, SHE NEEDS BOTH OF US RIGHT NOW, SHE NEEDS HER BEST FRIEND AND HER BROTHER!" Now it was my turn to cry.
"Siva, she needs you more than ever now, I don't know where she is, but we needs to find her before it's too late. She is really hurting right now and when she is upset she does stupid things. She might not be around to regret this one Seev. I'm round the corner, come and find me then we will find her but hurry. I-I-I real-l-l-y don't-t wa-ant-t t-t-o-o l-loose-e he-r Seev, I love her"
"Natalie, calm down. Tara will be okay, it will all be okay. I'm walking round the corner now, I'll see you in a bit. Bye Nat"
"Bye Seev, please hurry!"
I hung up the phone and practically ran to find Natalie. When I found her she was sat on the floor with her knees up to her chest crying softly, rocking back and forth. I sat beside her and brought her into a side hug, mumbling soothing words. Telling her that Tara would be okay, but I don't believe that myself. I'm scared.
*Tara's POV*
I've been sat here, at the side of the road for the past hour, silently praying that someone would be my saviour and take me away from everything. But I knew deep down no one would come. This would be the end. The end of everything, no more friends. No more family. No more dreams. I did'nt even reach my dream in life. I wanted to go into the Army this year. I wanted to show the world that I have changed and that I am a stronger person than anyone else out there. I can't do that now. I can't face anyone ever again. It's hard knowing you are throwing so much away. I just hope Natalie will be okay without me. She understands how hard it is because it's the same with her and Tom. I just hope they get sorted. She needs her brother in her life after I'm gone.
After thinking things through, I stood up and walked towards the edge of the road. I just had to wait for the right moment. Then it will all be over and I will finally be happy. I looked to my right and noticed a car, obviously speeding. This was it, no more Tara Kaneswaran. I hope people don't miss me, mind why would they? I'm just little Tara with the famous big brother. The car was speeding closer. I love you Natalie, please remember that, I'm sorry. 3.....2.....1.....
*Natalie's POV*
Me and Siva have been looking for about an hour now, and no look. Jay phoned us earlier saying Max was a mess and that he was just crying. Also, saying that he found 6 letters on Tara's bed addressed to us all. Then I realized how serious this had become, it was no longer a mission to find Tara. It was a mission to find Tara; alive. I let Siva walk infront as he was taller than me so could see further. I was just staring at the sky when Siva shouted.
"NATALIE! I CAN SEE HER! SHE IS STOOD BY THE ROAD, COME ON!"
Me and Siva sprinted towards Tara, who was stood dangerously close to the edge of the kerb. Siva stopped and started shouting at her to get away from the road. But she did'nt listen, she kept looking to the right, and that was when I noticed a car, speeding. No. She can't possibly be thinking that, she has so much ahead of her. She is still young. But most importantly, she is my best friend. I can't live without her. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me, I don't know what I would do without her. She was the only person who really knew me and the person I was inside. She can't leave me, I need her. I love her.
I was pulled from my daydream by a series of horns beeping. That's when I realized. Tara had walked, right into the path of that speeding car. She really was willing to end it all, there and then. But she did'nt. As much as she wanted to, she did'nt.
The next thing I remember was ambulances and police everywhere. The boys turning up, Max crying and the boys hugging me, while watching paramedics wheel a male into the back of the ambulance. The male that pushed Tara out of the way and got hit instead. The male that was willing to risk his own life for the sake of someone he loved. Siva.
