I walked in the double doors shyly and waved at some of my friends. Kaylee just trailed behind me. "Chris...I can't do this s-see you later." she stuttered. She speed walked past me wiping her face.

Gosh I messed up! "Hey baby." Ashlyn said planting a kiss on my lips. Woah. Wait, wait, wait I was dating Kaylee not Ashlyn why would she do that? Was I cheating on Kaylee? No I wouldn't. But. But. What?

"Why'd you do that?"

"Cause your my boyfriend, silly."

"Say what?" I say removing my hand from her tight grip.

"Your my boyfriend duh!"

"No Kaylee is my well was my girlfriend"

"No she was lying she just used your memory loss as a chance to force you to like her babe!"

"Kaylee wouldn't lie like that." I said. She has to be kidding.

"Look...she even changed my number in your phone to hers!" She said grabbing my phone.

"It...can't..no no I don't believe it."

"Believe it babe." she said tugging at my bag.

Ashlyn walked me to my class cause I apparently couldn't remember any of them. "Hi." I sputtered nervously to the teacher. The bell rang in about two minutes and Kaylee still wasn't here. I know we had first hour together cause I remember comparing schedules a few months back.

She walked in a few seconds later with a boy walking with her. He looked pretty hard core I guess. "Come on kitty what is it? What's wrong!?" He whisper yelled to her. She just shook her head to say no in a depressing way. She shot me and Ashlyn a glare. I'm sorry. "Please is it me? Did I do something?" The boy spoke again. She she shook her head no and put her head down on the desk.

"Poor thing." Ashlyn said. Then she started laughing everyone was laugh at Kaylee accept me and that boy. "So pathetic! Just cause your best friend doesn't love you doesn't mean you have to be a baby about it...he's mine anyway." she said. The room went silent. She looked up, her face wet with tears she clenched a jaw and slid everything off Ashlyn's desk. Then she looked at me she wanted to talk I could see it in her eyes but she just walked away. Just like that she walked out. More like a run. I got up about to chase her when my head boomed. "Ow."

"I'll protect you." I whispered in her ear.

He hugged me tightly and I wiped her tears.

"Ow." I said touching my head. Memories hurt. Then I realized what happened and I started to chase after Kaylee when that boy stopped me.

"You've done enough." he said. His piercing glare was sincere and he chased after Kaylee. That was supposed to be me. My heart sank as I watched her cry into his arms. Not mine. I felt....jealous? But why?
