Aftermath: 8:30 PM
Ian went back home, and slept until the next morning. He didn't know what to do tomorrow, as if there would be school until the city is repaired to it's old self. He wondered about the others, what will they do? Move to another city? Ian didn't want that, for they have been friends since they were barely going to first grade! They managed to stay friends all the way to the 10th grade. And when they fought, Jason and Mike seemed to the only one to either (This part is true, btw) 1) Calm Ian down or 2) stay on his side until they stopped arguing about nonsense. Ian had a short temper, so someone would just have to watch him.

Next Day- 7:29 AM
The five alarms Ian set up shoved him awake, yet still feeling sore from the previous battle. He got up and stretched the tiredness away. He walk over to the kitchen, but as he walked, he noticed his mother on her rocking chair. She merely sat there, expressionless and not noticing her only son. "Mom? Are you okay?" He asked. But his mother didn't reply. He walked to the kitchen but then stopped by his mother's voice, "We're moving to your Uncle's Home." Ian was shocked, for he couldn't just leave his friends, especially after they discovered their superpowers. His uncle Tom lived almost two states away and in a relatively small town. The people consisted of mainly elderly people, who fled to safety from hatred during their service in a bloody, wrong war many years ago. Plus, he found his uncle to be unusual and sort of... crazy, similar to that scientist guy with the rock. Ian suddenly said, "Mom, I have superpowers!", she looked at him with annoyance, "Ian, this is no time for jokes," "No I really do! I'll prove it!". He started to levitate off the ground, her face expanded in horror and let out a shriek: "What are you doing?!" He replied, "Im flying mom! I'm telling you I have powers!" Ian jump down and walk over to breakfast. Ian's mother seemed to be praying for the both of them, especially herself, for if he was possessed or something. He sat on the couch and tried to fix the TV, which showed no sign of life. He was so annoyed that he slammed his weak fist onto the television, which sparked the TV. Suddenly, it began to shake with the static, but then began to function and conceive a shopping channel selling a very advanced blender. ~Huh, I guess that worked.~ Ian thought in his mind, and plopped onto the couch.
Ian then started to get worried if they were going to move away, so he wanted to visit his friends for the last time. He called over his friends to meet at the park, if it was still there at least. About 15 minutes later, Kianna, the girlfriend; Maci, the half-spider/half-frozone; and Mike the unknown powerhouse showed up. With swings hanging on one handle, slides turned into falls, and monkey bars became hang for your life, the park was looking pretty good. Ian left a few minutes later his dark, tall house with his mother pacing back and forth, on the phone with her brother. He stopped at the entrance, looking at his friends, when suddenly he felt out of breath. He realized his closest friends were not going to be there for him, and that he would be stranded with his uncle all day playing some weird form of chess. He looked around his home city for one last time, knowing he was going to miss this place.
No one knew what to say first, so they spoke at once: "We need to stop Cora! I don't want to be a superhero! I love my new power! I'm moving!" They were all surprised to hear that Ian was going away, possibly forever. Ian had expected the hangout to be happy for the last time, but they were gloomy and retold their memories to each other. They had mixed feelings about the situation. Now reader, here we think that this book will end all of a sudden, but there's a small bit of hope, that might bring them back together.
Ian was packing of what was left in his room, when the doorbell rang. He sighed, and ran downstairs, when he heard his mother scream for him. Two men dressed in dark suits and shades were at the front door, taking Ian's mother away. "Hey! Give me my mom back!" He dashed for them, his mother crying out for help, but he was too late. He remembered how to spawn electricity, so he aimed and sparked at the men. The electricity shot out of his fingers, but was suddenly conducted to the TV signal, the only thing closest to conduct electricity. His mother was put in the back seats and the black Benz vehicle drove off. He ran out the door and onto the sidewalk, still in his socks, screaming for his mother. He felt anger inside, and sadness. He followed them without being unseen, with his flight. The men went into an alley, but this wasn't any ordinary alley, this was the same alley where the Order met the crazy scientist. The driver stepped out, grabbed the glowing rock, made some sort of portal, and left the earth, in an instant.
Ian looked through, and was soon about to go in when he heard tire screeches from behind. More black cars driving his way not going to stop anytime soon. He dove behind a trash can, watching each car disappear into the portal. Just then, Ian heard a small voice similar to Kianna's: "Over there! They're getting away!" Kianna and the rest of the group showed up, panting. Ian had the only instinct to save his mother and went through the portal, leading him to a massive spacecraft. On one side showed a massive screen showing outer-space. They were heading towards supergiants (Really big star, and you think our sun is big. Look up supergiants, and now compare our tiny little lives now).  It had various colors of red, each having high activity and fire spurting in every direction. He noticed all the human-like workers in their suits scattered around here Ian and the others hid behind carts and crates. The cars parked in the center with the men carrying several people to a walkway. A door opened and they disappeared once again. Ian ran over to take a picture of the large map presented up on one of the walls, but the words he attempted to read were complete nonsense. Then he looked over at the door. Ian wanted to follow them, but it would be too dangerous on his own. Calling to them, the whispered loudly, "C'mon we have to go!" He learned that every member had their parents taken away from them. Everyone knew this mission was not going to be easy. Maci felt something behind these walls that they had to get through, leaving them to fight yet again another battle with their incredible powers.
As they were planning, Kianna blurted out, chewing gum noisily, "Hey, if we are superheroes and all, we should have costumes, right?" "Look, we don't have time for dressup, we need to find our parents, now." sigh Ian. "So, we're gonna fight with our normal clothes? That's not happening" Maci realized. "Alright fine. just don't make them look terrible, Kianna." Kianna crossed her arms, but Ian continued on with the plan, looking at the map. He could tell that every symbol on the map had a meaning. There was a gun-looking shape, representing an armory; a chest looking thing, meaning storage; and a weird skull that possibly meant the final boss.
Suddenly, a loud alarm rang throughout the gigantic room. "Finally, break-time." sighed a alien-sounding, scratchy voice. These things looked very similar to humans, but obviously were not since actual humans can distinguish what is, in fact human, and what's not. The room immediately cleared and soon left the team. Maci ran over to find steps leading to a huge frame. There, sat another glowing rock and two, tall rods coming from the ground. She saw a button, and without hesitation, slammed a finger on it. A bright light emitted out from frame, then dimmed, went back home to get ready.
Abandoned Lab
About half an hour later, the group went through the same alley, without Kianna, who currently was making their costumes. They began to find the glowing rock, but it wasn't there, anywhere. Ian tried to remember where they had it last time, and he looked over a big dumpster. Under the lid was glowing lights, from blue to green. He sighed, rolled up his sleeves, opened the lid, and began digging in the smelly trash. Jason looked at him weirdly, as he thought if he was dumpster diving, but now wouldn't be the time. He shrugged and went to look between open cracks in houses and grounds. Above them was another one of those light poles, flashing every few seconds. Ian found something that was glowing, but it wasn't the rock. It was some sort of device. He got out of the dumpster, and realized it resembled to be a weapon. He aimed far off into the alley and pulled the trigger. He was worried that it may cause a big explosion. But in reality what did happen, another portal opened, the same portal that look liked the one the rock spawned. Ian noticed a knob on the weapon, and turned it from portal to destruction. Now, he didn't want to shoot it! Noticing the battery, it had one bar left. He called for the others, and just in time, Kianna teleported to them with their costumes. Ian took his, and looked at it. The suit stood out with a giant letter I that was plated with silver. It was sewn without negligence, with very smooth, navy blue threading, along with a flashy red cape. Ian raised an eyebrow, and said, "Well, they're okay, but could've been better." Kianna frowned at him. Jason, who was kind-hearted said, "Wow! I love mine! Thanks Kianna!" She smiled, "You're welcome Jason" and looked at Ian, crossed. Jason's suit was a cold, dark green with purple stripes running across the body. His mask covered his upper face and had lightning symbols at the sides. His footwear was bright purple with white wing symbols above the ankles. The symbol on his chest was a large J that was decorated in static along with a lightning bolt running across. You could tell Maci didn't like hers as much, but she just went along to like it. She wore a rosy pink costume with red bottoms, including shoes. All over was designed with black webbing, as well as a cross on her right shoulder. Her mask disguised her whole head and looked basically like a dollar-store spider, but better (NO OFFENSE REAL MACI.) Her symbol was an M covered in webbing along with a halo over it. Ian looked at Kianna's costume, and wondered, "Hey, how come yours look better than all of ours?" And to his surprise, everyone agreed to him. She wore dark red mixed with the darkest black material. Shiny, black boots ran across her shins, which seemed very polished. A black mask then covered her face and seemed to look like a Black Widow, but better. Finally, she had gold plating on her shoulders that seemed pretty heavy-duty. The symbol she had was a K with purple rings surrounding it, symbolizing her telepathy. All of them, however, had stitching on their right arms with the letters, SS. Ian asked,"What does SS mean?" to which Kianna replied, "I figured we needed a name for our team so I decided on Space Squad." "Hm. Order of the Space Squad." said Jason, nodding. Everyone agreed.
Ian put on his obviously spray-painted dish washing gloves, and stepped in the portal to make sure it was the right one. However, it wasn't the spacecraft he landed in. It looked like an abandoned research lab. He looked further in a glass room, where a man in a torn lab coat was working with a green glowing rock. And he remembered the scientist from the alley..
Deanimation Spacestation
The others raced in the portal all at once, making everyone fall on top of one another. The man turned to the portal, surprised, and walked slowly to where the Order had collasped. As he walked, he snatched his weapon, which looked the same as Ian's, from the counter. The man turned it to destruction mode, and pointed to where the noise came from. Ian had to think fast, he signaled everyone to spread out and not be seen. Jason was getting a bit worried, since he was the worst at hiding. He crawled under wrecked tables and chairs, he really wanted to use his superspeed, but it was such a small room. He was worried that he might crash into something. Everyone navigated through silently. The man became paranoid and walked over to turn the portal off. Kianna made it passed the scientist and reached the glass room, she hid behind the counter and decided to buy the others some time. She whispered in the scientist's head, "You have done bad things..." repeatedly. He became very worried, and shook and grasped his head. He dropped his weapon, and the group raced to where Kianna was. Ian saw the rock on the counter in front of them, and looked at Maci. She reached out her hand to the rock, but was hit with the weapon from behind them. She felt it sting, and rubbed it.  Jason had enough of having his friends getting hurt, which then he sped through the glass door, and pushed the scientist into the portal as hard as he could, but left the portal open. Ian grabbed the rock, opened the portal so everyone could leave to the right place. Looking around before that, he noticed where they created many things hidden from anyone. They were recreating dinosaurs, making zombies exist, and even worst of all... taking all the cookies from the cookie jar.
Yes they were that evil, but failed to surived what they have done. Jason walked to the portal, when a humanoid thing with no legs, crawled to him. He said, "Nope." and sped the hell out of there.
