Without her mask, she couldn't replicate the Orders' powers, but she did have her own. Annihilation Rex, needless to say, had been impaled by Guardian. Sharp electric shocks ran over its body until it malfunctioned. It stopped completely. Its jaw dropped open, not from being surprised, but another figure appeared. Could it be? Nah. Really? It's Maci! But, she seems off. She had some sort of grappling hook, taking herself on the roof to Cora. Ian could see in her eyes that she wasn't on their side anymore.
Cora got back up and kept running, leaving showers of meteors smashing down behind her. Ian kept running, dodging the falling rocks, sliding under them, jumping over them, and even almost running into them. They were catching up, with Mikey in the lead. At that moment, Luna took Ian's C-03, popped open the cap, and filled it with the antidote, and pointed at Maci. She experienced an unimaginable pain being close close to Cora. She wasn't paying attention to when she was stumbling by, until a big meteor fell right in front of her. The impact caused her to fall back and slip to the edge of Deanimation SpaceStation. She held on with one hand, if she let go, she would be burnt to a crisp from ChaosStar. The heat radiated on everyone, giving every edge a small glow. She was losing her grip, and called out for help. Mike was running behind, and caught Maci in the corner of his eyes, and at the exact moment, he dived over and caught Maci, who lost her hold of the ship. He pulled her up in time, and said, "Oh my goodness Mike, thank you." "We gotta keep moving. C'mon." Ian was right behind Deanimator, he pulled out his Staff of Resurrection, and spawned in skeletons in front of her. They held swords of their past, and blocked Cora's path. She leapt over and came down shook the ground, causing the skeletons to shake their bones and lose balance. Meanwhile, she kept her speed. Jason rushed past Deanimator, and with a Death's-Retrievers, and threw it at Cora's way. But using her meteors, she blocked it, leaving Jason with a meteor to the face. He fell back, and didn't get back up again. The boiling rock surged all over his body, incapacitating him. Ian had no time to waste. He flew over, passing Jason, and finally took the weapon, and blew it up with his laser eyes. Deanimator wasn't so happy about this, she started launching large icicles and fireballs. Deadly sticks of ice, long as spears. The fireballs rained down from ChaosStar. Kianna noticed Jason on the ground, and above them, a giant flaming rock heading towards them. She slid over to take him around her arms. She teleported over to where Ian and Cora were having their battle. He dodged every projectile Deanimator threw. That was until she struck him with a lightning bolt, carrying over thousands of volts towards him, who flew back. Ian laid there helpless. He felt his head flash through images: one of the rock, one of his mother, and especially, one of Kianna. That's when he had it. He picked up his C-03, jumped straight up, and landed on his feet. Flipping his gun with his finger, he then pointed at Cora, "Sorry, Cora. This... is for... my mom." He pulled the trigger.
The impact blew her far away. She slid over to the edge, hanging on the best she could. Above her was Ian, saying, "It's over for you Cora, the Order has won this battle." He gently stepped on her fingers, which made her fall right into ChaosStar, yelling as she became more distant, "I'll be back!" But what Ian, didn't know, was that Cora could withstand any temperature, and she wasn't done with the Order yet...
Ian looked back, and he saw the group helping Jason up. He ran to them, and helped Jason up, "Is it over now Ian?" he said, "Yes Jason, we won." Mike wondered, "How are we going to get out of here? Where's our parents?" Below them, Guardian was shrinking back into it's regular size. Ian flew down picking up the now adorable, harmless little pet it was. He flew back up, although his cape torn all over. Jason's symbol was cracked, and his costume ripped, exposing skin. Everyone else had their suits smeared dark with ash and sunburn. One's hair darkened with the ash and another made it lighter because they had black hair. Maci went to pet the Triceratops, "You did great, Guardian!" The Squad looked around at the destruction, and saw another big door in the distant, "This way!" They arrived at the door, opened it, and saw their beloved parents. They all were in one large cell; the conditions ran like a prison. Ian with very little force, pried open the steel bars, making way. The Order all ran to hug them.
It was a loving moment, until they heard explosions, Ian had to act quickly, "We need to get us out of here. But how? My ray-gun has no juice left. Then the portal disappeared because it didn't notice anybody there. How do we even call Professor Starman?" "Anyone know how to drive a spaceship?" said a parent, jokingly, but not really the right time. The whole place shook, then blurted out was a siren. This whole place was about to blow!
Guardian looked out, and focused on Annihilation Rex. It was glowing slightly, then fading. It tried to call Maci over, who said, "Not right now, Gaurdian." Gaurdian looked closer, and there was a portal being opened. It had nothing else to do but run to it, leaving Maci and the others chase it. That's when they saw it. A portal opening, but was soon about to close. They ran as quickly as possible, Ian made sure no one was left behind. The stranded parents followed Kia, confused and panting. They ran into the portal, leaving them back to where they started: the research lab. Just then, everyone was stopped when parts of the ceiling fell all around them. Ian and the others brushed dust off themselves and moving obstacles aside, or at least tried to. This place was about to collapse in on itself soon, and the Order is trapped inside...
Ian used his incredible strength, but did not have enough time to catch every piece of debris. He tried once more to lift the parts of ceiling, and in using his newly discovered power, he lifted the rocks over and smashed them to a wall. Each large piece exploded into bits of dust in the air. "Woah..." Ian then remembered to gather everyone into the portal. Ian ran in just in time when sirens screeched across the halls. Loud noises then surrounded every particle. Behind him he heard not only the space-station-the place catching on fire due to getting to close to ChaosStar- but the research lab's ceiling falling. Nothing grew visible. They had escaped.
Wait. Not again. Another place. They were back in the Emergency room. They were still stuck! Everyone began to crowd, but not too badly. Suddenly, the groaning and screeching came from the other side of the door. With the C-03 clutched in one hand, and Cora's mask in the other, he went to peek through the slightly opened door, and looked around. They were still there, standing on the rubble of the ceiling. Somehow, there were more. Ian wondered, "Where are these freaks coming from?" He saw a zombie nearby, smelling the air... for flesh. It immediately turned to the door, facing Ian, and tilted it's head. Ian quickly closed the door, cursing to himself and his stupidity. He turned to a desk beside him and pulled it in front with his two fingers. The door was banging behind him with the knob shaking. Reader, this isn't the stereotypical creature, it was far superhuman. One hero can be overwhelmed with merely 3 of Them. Who knows if they infect, too.
Jason looked at him, "We're trapped again, now how are we supposed to get out of here?" There were more banging, and groaning at the door. Ian knew it wasn't just zombies, yet it sounded it like giant steps from the other side, like a giant dinosaur. Each step shaking the ground fiercely. One step came so close almost everyone lost balance. Then, the groaning stopped. Ian quietly moved the table back to open the door. He peeked out once more, revealing something so large, it hurt Ian's neck looking up at it. It was an argentinosaurus, the biggest saurodpod to ever live on earth. With no ceiling, the sky revealed to be dark and almost not even to the earth's sky. In fact, it looked like the lab was somewhere underground! Light sources appeared from falls of lava in the distance. The creature seemed irritated, smashing into anything standing. As it walked by, it used it's tail to hit the door, which was about to break any moment. Ian had to act quickly again, "Everyone hide in anything! Cabinets, closets, under desks!" Luckily there were many of those lying around, and they all hid in them. Ian was still searching, and across from him was a small vent in a wall, big enough to crawl in. He ran as quickly, sliding into the crack. As he looked around in the dark spacing, he saw something heavy. He then pushed it into the opening, to prevent any more swarms of dust to come in. He sighed, lit up his finger with his electricity, and observed his hideout. Right next to him was a human skeleton, leaning on him, which took him by suprise. Ian frowned, "Atleast you tried bud." The skeleton was holding a note. It read, "Attention to whom may be concerned, however we prefer this note to be sent to the President, we are informed that the supergiant known as 'ChaosStar' will explode in approximately 3 years, 5 months. Please take caution as we are advised to take the human race to another part of the galaxy that is habitable. Not many options are open for discussion and a habitable planet has been located about 750 lightyears away. Time will be of top priority." A tear dropped down Ian pale cheeks, knowing that all the heroic things they have done will not be cared by anyone. Everyone will be too busy acknowledging about having to move planets. They tried their best. Every bit of good contributed, a bad thing always arises again. He sighed, looked further, and saw a small tunnel. Ian crawled over to it, but then realized, "What am I doing? Do I leave the others for a bit? I should get back real soon..."
Meanwhile, everyone was inside of something, trying to stay calm, and holding the handles to prevent anymore rubbish from damaging them. One everything seemed clear, Kia opened her drawer door and peeked out. There didn't seem any sign of danger so she crawled out. She signaled only the Order to come out and observe. Everything collapsed, The cave they were in seemed more visible and there were no signs of life nearby. Viewing from up high, Maci scouted to see cages, bars, and doors open. It seemed like whatever was trying to be contained broke out. From the ceiling of the cave, large holes were carved, revealing dim, beige light in. Mike walked around on the rubble, looking for anymore weapons available for protection. That was until he felt a tugged on his ankle. The grasp became sharp, then painfully tight. It was the undead, rising from the ground, almost active again as if they weren't absolutely crushed by the Argentinosaurus. With barely any weapons, it would be even more difficult to defend against the hordes now waving in. Jason cried out, panicking, "Ah damn it where's Ian?!" Where did their leader go?
Ian struggled to crawl through the tunnel. At the end of it was a source of lighting. It was so dark that he squinted from his strained eyes. He ended up seeing a flashlight that was turned on for who knows how long, held by a corpse. Ian sighed again, opened the door quietly, and looked at it as if was a miracle. But it wasn't at all. Below him was another room, with people being transported from a portal. That was when he heard screaming on the other side being blocked from not the horde, but people... guards. A hallway revealed yet again more creatures, that looked like raptors. They came in groups, pouncing on people, clawing mercilessly. Out came a group of armed S.W.A.T. and rushed in, shooting at them. It was so brutal. Blood everywhere.
Ian had to look away in disgust, they didn't care about the people, they were merely just following orders. Ian closed the tiny door, and sat back. Scaring him half to death, Luna's presence was right behind him. "What happened?" asked Luna. He recovered his breath and finally said, "You don't want to know..."
