"What is that?"
The two ninja guards looked out at the path that led to the them as they stood at the gates of the village. A red carriage pulled by two black horses was making its way towards them. Two men stood beside the carriage with red and black tops, red belts around their waists, black pants, black nin shoes, and black hai-ates on. There was one man on each side of the carriage and another was steering the carriage with the same outfit and no hai-ate.
"Halt," the guard with spiky brown hair, a Konoha hai-ate across his forehead, and bandages over his nose stated as the carriage stopped.
"What is your business?" The other guard that had straight brown hair and a bandanna with the Konoha village insignia on it asked with a soft glare.
The men paid no mind to the two and went to the door of the carriage.
"Are you hungry princess?" One asked.
The two village guards looked at each other. "Princess?" They whispered to each other.
"You both eat since you haven't yet. I can wait a little longer," a soft voice said with a scolding tone but with kindness.
The guards smiled into the carriage and the closest guard put out his hand. His long red hair trailed to his waist tied in a ponytail with a red ribbon and his Honou hai-ate tied around his head right above his light brown eyes. A pale hand was put in his and out of the carriage walked a girl in a white outfit.
"Thank you Futoshi," she said with a soft smile and looked over at the other guard whom had bright blue eyes and wavy brown hair to his shoulders with his front left bangs braided in front of his ear and his hai-ate in the same place as Futoshi's. "Shall we go, Daichi?"
Her emerald eyes held a kindness most people wish to see in everyone. Her bangs were blood red and ended at her chin with it cut flat before her eyes, but the rest of her hair was a dark midnight black and went just past her chin with half of it in a bun tied with red ribbon. Daichi nodded with a soft smile and the two Konoha guards looked at the three for a few moments then asked again.
"What is your business here?" The spiky haired guard asked.
The girl and Futoshi looked over at the two as Daichi got their things from the top of the carriage. He said a few parting words and the carriage left. Daichi planted himself firmly behind the girl as she looked up at the two. The guards estimated she couldn't be older than twelve or thirteen while the other two were possibly eighteen or so.
"We are here on business on behalf of Honougakure, the Village Hidden in the Flames," Futoshi stated then he pointed to the girl. "She is Princess Kou Nao of Honougakure. We were told to see the Hokage as soon as we got here."
The two looked at each other.
"What do you think Izumo?" The spiky haired man asked the other.
"I don't know Kotetsu," the straight haired man stated with narrowed eyes in the direction of the girl and her guards. "I say okay and we will see what happens."
Kotetsu nodded and looked at the young girl. She was patting down her shirt. A belt was around her middle colored red. It was the same red as her hair and the cherry blossom on her left breast, the cherry blossom signalling she was of royalty. The rest of her outfit was white with the exception of her traditional black sandals and the choker necklace she had on with a cat paw print pendant.
"Follow me please," Izumo said softly and gave a smile.
Futoshi led with Nao between he and Daichi. He hoped all this would be over soon so they could rest. He never complained, but his feet were hurting and he was sure Daichi's were as well. He sighed and looked behind, smiling when he saw Nao looking around with a bright smile at everything.

FanfictionThis is a love triangle story with Gaara and Sasuke. It will follow the time line but things will follow my OC most of the time and it will be slightly changed a bit to fit the story. I do NOT own the Naruto characters in any way. They all belong...
