Nao sighed as she put the papers in the filing cabinet. Sasuke was still gone, and it really started to worry her.
Nao let out another sigh and she closed the filing cabinet. She went to look for the head nurse so she could report in and leave. A few of the kids that were being checked out by their parents ran up to her and bowed in gratitude.
"Thanks for helping us get better Nao-himi!" They all but shouted.
Nao laughed and nodded. She gently ruffled both children's hair and they went back to their parents.
"You get along great with kids I see," a voice said in an amused yet bored tone.
Nao gasped and turned around to come face-to-face with Sasuke. She blushed softly but couldn't stop herself when she jumped into his arms. Sasuke couldn't help but chuckle even if it was uncharacteristic of him. He would never admit it, but he missed this. He actually missed her. He hugged her back slightly then pushed her off of him.
"Check out and I'll tell you about my mission," Sasuke stated knowing what she was going to ask.
Nao nodded and she grabbed his hand, pulling him along behind her. Soon enough they were on their way back home and Sasuke told her all about his mission. He told her about Tazuna, the boring way to the Wave Country by boat, about Zabuza and the boy that was loyal to him that died for Zabuza. He stopped when he heard sniffling and turned to Nao with a frown.
She was hiding her face as she sat on the couch next to him. He was confused. What could have made her cry like that? She looked up at him with her tear-stained face and asked, "His name was Haku, wasn't it?"
Sasuke nodded in confusion. He wanted to know how she knew him and why she was crying. It was then something came back to him, something that happened at the Wave Country that still confused him.
~ Sasuke huffed as he sat down in front of the tree he was learning to climb. He turned his head to the side quickly thinking he sensed something, but he shook it off quickly as he got up.
"I'm leaving dobe," he stated in a bored voice.
Naruto said nothing and just started doing his exercise again. Sasuke shook his head and yawned. He headed back to the house and went straight to his room. He knew the others would call him down when it was time to eat so he just slunk down on his bed. He stretched out and felt something paper-like on his pillow.
"Hmm?" Sasuke whispered to himself. "What is this?"
Sasuke looked at the paper on his pillow. It was an envelope. He opened it and out came another envelope and a small necklace with a silver heart pendant. A closer look at the pendant showed a snowflake was caved in the middle on the front of it and on the back was the inscription 'H+N Siblings Forever.'
The second envelope had clear writing on it saying, 'Give this to her please.'~
It made Sasuke wonder what that was for and only now did he know. The letter was from Haku and the girl he was supposed to give it to was Nao. How didn't he figure it out before? H+N, Haku and Nao!
Sasuke reached into his pocket and pulled the letter out. He looked at it for a moment then gave it to Nao. She stared at it then looked at Sasuke.
"It's from him," Sasuke stated in a soft voice.
Nao hesitated, but took the envelope. The necklace fell into her lap as she took the paper out. She gently picked it up as if it would break in her hands. She looked at the snowflake in the heart then at the back at the inscription as she started crying again, but this time she was smiling and thinking of happy memories. She opened the letter and smiled at the familiar writing. It said:

Living Out A Prophecy
FanfictionThis is a love triangle story with Gaara and Sasuke. It will follow the time line but things will follow my OC most of the time and it will be slightly changed a bit to fit the story. I do NOT own the Naruto characters in any way. They all belong...
