So it looks like I forgot to update this again. Sorry bout that. Enjoy the chapter.

Daichi opened his eyes slowly, his body aching from beatings and the various cuts and bruises strewn across his skin. Around him was the same dimly lit cell he had been in for the past few weeks. It felt like months. He had lost count of the days, but he got somewhat of a view of time seeing someone come in the room only to heal him up enough so he wouldn't die during the new day's beatings.

     Speak of the devil...

"Lord Orochimaru won't be here for the next few days," a gruff voice stated, a wicked smile passing along the twisted man's lips as he healed any life-threatening things done to him from the previous beating. "You have been causing him a lot of trouble in here haven't you?"

Daichi managed a very small and weak smile. "Y-You could...say that..."

The man smirked. "Let's see how long you'll last in here Mr. Mistake."

Futoshi and Tenzou waited behind a rocky outcrop for Yuugao to return. They didn't have to wait very long luckily.

"He left," she reported as she appeared in front of the two men. "Orochimaru and five others have left the hideout in cloaks. I also found out that Daichi is being held in the worse parts of the hideout. One explosion could make a cave in and kill all in the section of the cave."

"Damn that bastard Orochimaru!" Futoshi cursed as he punched the dead tree beside him. He sighed and sat down.

"We keep to the plan but with slight alterations, got it?" Tenzou asked. "Taijutsu and weapons only, no ninjutsu."

Futoshi sighed and nodded as Yuugao did. Futoshi could only wonder what Daichi was going through in the hideout.

~

Daichi looked down the hallways to his left and right. He walked back into the cell and looked over the corpse of the Sound ninja.

"Sick bastard..." he muttered as he took the man's clothes off to cover his own bare body. He looked around for other weapons and when finding none, he sighed. The nin must have thought ahead that Daichi would have enough strength to get out of the cell because he had only two kunai on him. Daichi smirked. Two should be more than enough to get him out of the filthy place.

Daichi tried to remember what way he was taken into the hideout, but the parts where he blacked out were many, and the other times his memory was foggy from either drugs or the concussion he received from the battle. He sighed and started his cautious walk down the right hallway.

"Got to start somewhere, right?" He muttered to himself quietly.

Daichi was on edge the entire time he walked down the seemingly never-ending hallway. He soon came to a to an intersection where he could go straight or left. The straight path looked so beaten and dusty that he thought it might cave in on him from just breathing on the walls or ceiling. Looking down the left side, it didn't look as bad, but he had a bad feeling about the place, so he decided to go straight. Sometimes the beaten path was better than the clear one.

~

"I told you be careful! Did I not!"

Futoshi looked at Tenzou sheepishly as he blocked another kunai thrown at his face. He looked around at the surrounding ninja and saw Yuugao start to struggle. He sighed. "Never thought I'd have to use him..."

     "Summoning jutsu!"

Claws shredded flesh and jaws snapped bones. Within seconds the fight was over, everyone dead at the ANBU's feet. A lone green eye stared down at Tenzou and Yuugao, it's look giving them the feeling it was judging them, seeing if it would allow them to live or to kill them now.
