Nao walked around the clearing and sat down in the middle of a group of flowers.

"A flower such as you shouldn't be sitting alone," a voice stated suddenly.

Nao looked behind to see a man with silver hair and green eyes. He was quite tall and wore the usual Konoha chuunin outfit with his Konoha hai-ate as a bandanna on his head.

"I can protect myself thank you," Nao said softly and ran her fingers along the petals of a poppy.

"I didn't mean any disrespect," he said with a chuckle.

Nao hummed and he sat down a bit away from her.

"Shouldn't you be in the academy?" He finally asked her.

Nao turned to him. She didn't like the look in his eyes. It was like an animal, a crazy and unpredictable animal. Like an animal that is very cunning and smart. She narrowed her eyes at him slightly trying to figure out what he was thinking.

"I have all the training I need and finished it the year before this one. I need no further instruction thank you sir."

She turned back to the flowers and he studied her. She didn't seem to be from around Konoha, he would have seen her before if she was. She didn't look to be of normal status either and she seemed innocent, but not to where she was dumb. She was a pure kind of innocent.

"I'm Mizuki, what is your name?"

     "Kou Nao," she said quietly.

Mizuki's face broke into a giant grin. So this was the girl that the Hokage was talking about? A little girl like her couldn't be that powerful, could she? He couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Are you really the princess? If so, where are your guardians?" Mizuki asked.

"I am sorry, but I just met you and I don't trust you. You have no right to ask me personal questions. My name is all I am giving at this time, if that is all right."

Mizuki frowned. She was smarter than he had thought. She didn't even turn around when saying it and could just imagine a determined look on her face. It was really quite the opposite.

Nao was terrified of what he could do. He was much taller than her and even though she had been trained hard he could possibly be much stronger than her. She was just hoping he would go away. She didn't trust him and didn't like him. There was just something evil about him and it didn't sit well with her. It was then a familiar voice was heard, one that she was happy yet not to hear at the same time.

     "Hey Mizuki sensei!"

Mizuki looked towards the boisterous blonde and smiled.

"Hey Naruto! Did you finish cleaning off the heads already?" Mizuki asked with a laugh.

Naruto grumbled an answer under his breath making Mizuki laugh again.

"Learn your lesson though?" Mizuki asked.

He just laughed again when Naruto started grumbling again. Mizuki got up and patted Naruto on the head. He waved then said goodbye to Nao's relief and Naruto turned to the girl and recognized her instantly.

"You're that girl I ran into a while ago!" He yelled as he pointed at her.

"Pointing is rude Naruto-san," she said softly as she picked a daisy.

She looked at him to see he was scratching the back of his head with a sheepish smile.

"Sorry about that...um..." He realized he didn't know her name.
