Tony POV

I stood there completely frozen as we were told that some crazy fucked up pieces of shit has decided that the world doesn't need supernatural or any other beings for that matter because they've corrupted the air they breath, so now I'm here with my pack while we listen to our Alpha telling us that a toxic gas is going to be released in the next couple of days, everyone came out of their shocked state and starting shouting at once "were doomed" "we must save ourselves" "where can we go" were a few of the things getting shouted at the Alpha, he lift his hand up and people started to quiet but it wasn't enough as others were still panicking, and that just fed into everyone else "please settle down, we have much to do the Alpha of the Midnight Pack has allowed us to use one of their safe tunnels" he explained trying to calm the others down but it wasn't working, they were still talking over him

He looked annoyed and then exhausted at the same time, then he looked at me for help, I sighed deeply before walking up to stand next to him {the things I do for my cousin} I sighed again heavily this time "enough" I called out, my power mixing in with my voice "everyone calm down, instead of arguing we could be doing something that's more important" I demanded firmly, I saw a raised hand and noticed it was one of the teenagers of the pack "yes grey" I gestured for him to continue, when I saw who it was "what do you think we need to do first, Tony" he question again, I sighed today is going to be a long day but first I need to get everyone moving "first thing first collect only the essentials like food, bottles of water, clothes and whatever important documents that we will need to start over again when this is over" I ordered firmly "you all need to split yourselves into groups, the teenagers needs only get one suitcase of clothes, underwear etc, electricals will be brought with us to see if we can still use them, those involved of the kitchen and vegetable garden will pack up enough food until a time for regrowth can begin, a few photos of each family should be enough and any valuables like jewellery, should also be packed away quickly" I told them all firmly

"We will only be taking three mini buses, two will be for everyone whilst the third will be for suitcases and other items we can get, once everything you are taking is packed please place it by the front door, also parents please don't over pack on toys, again we don't know how much space our new shelter will hold" I concluded seriously, within minutes everyone was leaving the meeting room leaving only me and the Alpha behind, though we could still smell the fear that everyone was feeling at least now they have something to focus on for the time being and not on the trouble, I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned and saw the Alpha "I don't know how you do that Tony, but I'm so glad you did" he muttered trying to smile but I could see the strain of it "you do realise that we're cousins right Carl, they listen to me like they would to you" I asked raising an eyebrow when he looked embarrassed, I laughed softly "come on bro, we've also got stuff to do" I said walking off wanting to make sure that we have everything ready to leave within two days, hoping that nothing will happen before we can get the pack to safety "Tony you do know that he's the Alpha of the Midnight Pack" he spoke softly as he walked besides me "yes I do but nothing can change what happened in the past, let's just focus on having a future" I replied sadly before leaving him alone to pack my own stuff so then I could help some of the others

Alpha Aidan Andrew was the reason I never travel to other packs, I've only met him once and that was when we found out we were mates, but a second later he rejected me because I wasn't what he wanted, so naturally I never saw him again and if your thinking that he slept with anyone after I left well your be mistaken because apparently when your mated to one of my family and you reject that person, your no longer able to have sex which I thought was fucking funny {serves him fucking right, of course he was dating a girl at the time, I've often wondered if he wanted to see my reaction by the rejection, I never did show my pain and with being an elder, means I need to have perfect control over my powers, unless we wanted a natural disaster, or what Carl calls them 'a Tony's disaster'} I thought scoffing at the very thought, I've never lost control over my emotions, as they are the number one thing that can trigger my powers to become unbalanced shall we say, becoming an elder at such a young age was not my plan, but a persons power doesn't care if your ready or not, and when they did emerge they scared my own pack members for a while
