That airport always gave me the chills. The last time I was there the entire place was packed up with photographers and reporters trying to take a picture of me or waiting for me to make a statement. I was the lost girl that had just been found. Louis was convicted of kidnapping...

I can hardly remember that day. Tons of people were surrounding me. My father was dragging me from my hand through the crowds, my mother was trying to cover me up. Policemen were trying to clear our way and after what seemed hours, we finally reached a taxi to go back home. The sting in my eyes from crying and the vomit gathered in my mouth was the only thing I can recall from that day.

I swore to myself I would never set foot to that place again, but this time was different.

I was convinced that this business trip to New York would be my death sentence. My little self suspected from the beginning the monstrous turn it would would take. But I didn't want to jinx. I decided to be professional and as far as possible from Louis. My movements were fast. I never waited for him to catch up with me. I checked in and made my way to the airplane without looking back. I honestly reckon that that act of me was childish and foolish but despair had crushed me like a wave.

I took my seat next to the window and looked outside. I had never been a first class passenger, but surely the situation that I was in didn't make me enjoy it. Only a few minutes before he would come next to me. My eyes stared at my silver watch for a few minutes and my right leg was going up and down nervously. My heart beat frantically. I wanted him. Here with me. I knew I shouldn't feel this way. My heart and mind were victims of his witchcraft

"Sorry I'm late. Someone didn't wait for me to come inside together." he said sarcastically as he sat, unbottoning his suit jacket. Immediately, the scent of heavy cologne mixed with eucalyptus reached my nostrils.

I turned to him without looking him in the eye. I wasn't prepared for an angry Louis. Or even better; an angry boss. He watched me piercingly as he fixed his link cuffs. He was angry. I knew it. I knew every hue of his voice and every move.

"Cat got your tongue?" he hissed and I gave in. Those blue, blue eyes, icy blue were taking in every feature of my face. And as I stared back his face softened. "I'm sorry." I whispered and he turned not saying another word. Soon the plane took off.

The flight was dull and exhausting. I was trying to occupy myself with anything else but the man beside me. His intoxicating aroma was paralazying me, but Louis himself paid no attention to me and we exchanged none to a few words, by asking me once or twice if I wanted to sleep. He was most of the time on his phone texting back to Jay as I had managed to catch a glimpse of his phone or listening to music.

I had a glace at a song that he selected to listen once. "Sting", was its name. I didn't know it, but I took in it meant something to him. He leaned back to his seat and closed his eyes. His face looked troubled, mad. For a moment, when I turned to the window I felt his eyes on me and I understood this song was connected to me...
