4. Party, Phone Calls, and Boys

Ali's POV

Once we get downstairs, we make our way over to Mom, Dave and a mother with her son.

"Ah Ali, Mia this is Ms. Hood and her son Calum. He's the same age as you Ali."

"Cool. Hi Calum" Mia and I said.
"Erm hi"

"Er why don't you show him around. Mia come I want you to meet someone."

Mia's POV

"Mia, this is Ms. Irwin and her son Ashton. He is 17 too."

"Hi." I gave a small smile. He was only a few inches taller than me. Roughly 6 feet. He had multiple shades brown hair and a little blondeish color. He had blue/green eyes. Hehe and when he smiled he had these deep dimples that I just wanna shove my finger in. Ok. Wow that's weird. I don't know where that came from.

We kinda just stood their awkwardly after Dave left until," Hey wanna get some food?"

"Yea sure! I'm starving"

Once we sat down,"So Mia, what high school are you and Aliana going to?"

" We'll, we actually got into different schools, so she's going to Northwest Christian College and I'm going to Richmond High."

"Cool! So you'll be going to the same school as me!"

"Really? Wow! At least ill know someone."

"Yea. Hey-"

That's when I hear the familiar lyrics of I Miss You by Blink-182. It was my friends back home.

"Oops! Sorry I have to take this."
"It's ok"


"Hello?"

"MIKAYLA ANNE!! How dare you not call is for 2 days!!"

"Haha Hi Maame! sorry guys yesterday we got in an-"

"Excuses excuses! You could have sent us a text! We thought you were dead!"

"Hehe sorry! Listen I gotta go. I'm at our welcome here party and I'm talking to someone."

"Oooo a guy? Then pass us on to Ali."

"Yea, about that..."

"She's with a guy to huh?"

"We'll, I don't really know! Sorry gotta go!"

"Bye!"

-End Of Call-

"Sorry Ash. That was my friends from back home."

"It's ok. But did you call me Ash?"

Oh gosh. I have a tendency of giving people nicknames if their name is long. What am I suppose to say?

"Er yea. Ashton is kinda a mouthful-"

"It's ok! All my friends call me that"

"So I'm your friend?"

"Of course!" He said with a grin settling on his face."But I have to ask you a question." I nodded," Was that Blink-182 playing?"

"Haha! Yea their really good!"

"If you like them you should check out All Ti-"

"Time low? Yea their good to"

"How about Bus-"

"Busted? Them too"

"Wow. What about Sleeping With Sirens and Escape the Fate?"

"I like Roger Rabbit and Ashley by them."

"Wow ok-"

-Doodle beep doodle beep-

Ash's phone decided to go off. I swear phones are the best and worst inventions.

"Ugh sorry Mia I have to go. Mum wants me to watch Harry. My little brother."

"Aww! It's ok ill walk you out."

"Ok!"

As we reach the door and stand on the porch,"Well, Mia I hope to see you again."

"Me too" he lent down and we gave each other a hug.

"See ya."

"Bye"

He left the porch and I headed back inside. I saw a group of little kids so I decided to go over and play with them. I've always loved little kids. Their so cute! But Ali says their little demons. Some times they really are.

After the party ends I'm so tired! After saying good night to everyone. I slip into my pjs and settle into my bed.
"Mia!", Aliana bursts into my room," tomorrow were going to that kid Calum's house. So be ready by 1."
"Mmkay. Night"

I decided on not telling her about Ashton. Ill tell her tomorrow. I'm just to lazy to get out of bed. Plus shell freak and scream and I'm just not really ready for that.

Im actually excited for tomorrow. If I'm gunna live here I'm gunna need as many friends as possible.
