17. Books Are Our Friends, Carnival Maybe?, And Girls?!?!?

"MIAAAAAA!!! Where are you?!?" Aliana shouted.

"I'm in my bedroom!"

"Girl! Did I just see Ashton leaving this house?" She said entering my room.

"Yea. He left like five minutes ago. Why?" I asked sitting up.

"Well, why was he here?" So I explained my whole day at school and the two trips to the principals office. I told her about the text from Tony.

"That still doesn't explain why Ashton was here. Wait, you two didn't hook-"

"God no! Ali,-" I finished explaining about the Skype call with Tony and that Ashton came to check on me. I told her how we watched the movie and I fell asleep and had a nightmare. I told her about him waking me up and holding me. I told her everything.

"Awww! For Tony, I swear if I ever see him again-"

"Your gunna hurt him?"I rolled my eyes.

"How did you know?"

"Cause I know you and Ashton said the same thing." She elbowed me in the side.

"Awww."

"Shut up!" I paused.

"So where were you? How was your day?"

"Well" she explained what happened with Maddy and pretty much everything that happened.

"Wow. Maddy seems. Uhh."

"Slutty, stupid, annoying, bit-"

"Eheheeh. Stop. I think I got it." She giggled. "So where were you? Did you eat?"

"Yes I ate. I went over to Calum's house to ask him a question, and I was greeted at the door by Ash, and he asked where you were and I said probably in your room. So he came over here, and Calum invite me to stay for dinner."

"Get it girl!"

"I'm so confused."

"Why?"

"Calum and I. We hold hands and we kiss- sometimes. I just don't know anymore!" She said falling down on my bed and picking up my book to hit herself in the head.

"Don't damage my book on your hard head! You're abusive! Books are our friends!" I said grabbing the book from her hand, stroking it, and putting it back on my table."Now about Calum, I have no idea what to do. You can ask him , or wait it out till he brings it up and asks you."

"Your no help!"

"I just-"

"Nope. Byeee!" She walked out of my room leaving me dumbfounded as to what jut happened.

The week went by and it was now Friday. Ash and I were waiting for the bus to come after our detention.

"Hey um Ash?" I could see the bus at the end if the street.

"Hmm?" He said slipping his phone into his back pocket.

"I-I just wanted to thank you for staying with me the other day, when-"

"Hey, it's ok. It's what I'm here for." He said wrapping his arms around me.

"Thank you." I mumbled into the crook of his neck. Damn this guy smelt good. Stop it Mia.

"All aboard!" I bus pulled up along the curb and opened the doors and we hopped in making our way to our usual seats.

"Um Mik?"

"Yea?" I turned around to face him.

"We'll, I um. Never mind. It was stupid." He said turning away from me.

I grabbed his chin turning him back to face me and locking eye contact. "No question is stupid Ash. Now ask it."

He huffed," We'll, I was um wondering of you wanted to go the carnival next Friday with me. A-And the boys. And Ali I think is going with Calum. So I wanted you to come, I thought it would be fun, b-but if you don't wan-"

"Ashton. Shush. And to answer your question, yes I would love to accompany you to the fair." He smile reminded me of a Cheshire Cat. And damn those dimples. Wait. Stop it. You just broke up with your boyfriend.

"Ok good!"

"So it's like Ali and Cal, Me and You, and Luke and Michael?"

"We'll, yea. Is that ok?"

"Definitely. I think Luke and Michael would make a lovely couple!" We laughed and made our way of the bus when we reached the familiar street.

"We'll, I guess I'll see you?"

"Of course. You think it's the weekend and you can escape me?" Ash asked. "Guess again sweetheart." I smacked his chest.

"Thank you Ash. For everything." I gave him a quick peck on the cheek, which made them turn a slight pink.

"I'll see you later. Bye Mik." He waved making his way off my porch. I went inside and went straight up to my room to finish my homework.

It was about 7 when Ali came in an asked if I wanted to watch a movie, and she put on Monsters Inc. During the middle of the movie I got a text from ash.

"Come in!!" Ali yelled.

"Hey GURLS!" 5 girls? walked in.

"Oh. My. God!" Ali and I both said.

"Why are you dressed up as girls?" I questioned.

"We'll, er, you said girls night so we dressed up." Ashton answered, shrugging his shoulders.

"Your crazy." I shook my head

"So can we stay?"Luke asked.

"Sure. Just change please. It's creeping me out!" The boys took off their costumes and jumped on my bed.

"Play the movie!!!"

"Can I order pizza? And Panda Express?" Michael asked.

"Mikey do you-" Calum started

"Knock your socks off Mikey."

"YAY!! I love you Mia!" He yelled and ran down the stairs.

For the wrest of the night we just watched movies and talked. I think at about one am, I slowly fell asleep, my head landing on something hard. What's that? I don't remember having a hard pillow. Oh well, ill check in the morning.

"Good night love." Someone whispered in my ear.
