Marnie's P.O.V
After school, I went with Lola to her house. On the way there, she would tell me some of the cheesy jokes that Mr. Nichols said in Chemistry.
"Don't trust atoms, they make everything up" Lola mocked. I couldn't help but laugh.
"It's cheesy but funny" I said. When we got to her house, her dad was there to greet us.
"Hello sweetheart" Mr. Yorke said, hugging Lola.
"Hi dad. Is it alright if Marnie stays for a bit?" Lola asked. Mr. Yorke smirked and looked at me.
"As long as it's alright with Lydia" he said
"She says it's fine. She doesn't get off until five" I said. Mr. Yorke smiled and reached out to touch my hair. I stepped back and immediately went upstairs, being followed by Lola.
"I'm sorry about my dad. He likes women who are way too young for him" Lola said.
"It's alright. I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself" I said
"So, how was music history?" Lola asked, with a smirk on her face.
"It was fine" I said
"And Mr. McCartney?" Lola asked
"He asked me if I had a boyfriend" I said
"Ooh. I think he likes you" Lola said
"Oh please. He's my teacher and I'm his student. There is no way he could possibly like me like that" I said

Paul's P.O.V
I watched as my students left for the day. I kept my eye on one particular student though. Her name was Marnie Rowe and she was beautiful, but she was also my student.
Then there was also the fact that I had a fiancé, Jane. Don't get me wrong, Jane is beautiful, but my feelings for her are starting to fade. I just didn't know how to tell her.
My mind wandered back to Marnie. She was just so beautiful. She had sparkling blue eyes that you could just get lost in, and her blonde hair, it looked so smooth and silky. I just wanted to run my fingers through it as I kissed her. I closed my eyes as I thought about her lips against mine, running my hands all over her body and feeling her body rub against mine as I made sweet love to her.
"Paul?" a voice knocked me out of my thoughts. I looked over at my fiancé.
"Hi Jane" I said. She smiled and walked over to me. She gave me a kiss.
"How was your first day?" Jane asked me
"It went better than I thought it would" I said
"That's good. You finished up here so we can head home? We're meeting the new neighbours" Jane asked. Oh, yeah. I completely forgot about that. All I could think about was Marnie.
"Yeah. Let's go" I said

When I got home, I found my mom I'm the kitchen cooking dinner.
"Hello mom" I said. I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Hello Marnie. How was your first day?" mom asked
"It went well. How was yours? Meet any potential actors or actresses?" I asked
"I don't teach drama. I teach theatre studies and theatre production" mom said
"Whatever you say" I said. I started making my way up to my room.
"Can you please change into a dress when you're up there? We're having guests over tonight" mom said
"Who is it? Is it your boss?" I asked
"No, it's our neighbours. They're new to town and I thought we could welcome them" mom said.

I changed into a looses dress that ended just at my knees. I don't usually like wearing dresses but whenever mom asks me to, I will wear one. I'd do anything for my mom, since dad isn't around.
"Sweetie, the neighbours are here! Can you please come down!" mom requested. I went downstairs and I saw the familiar face.
"Mr. McCartney?" I said
"Hello Marnie, and please, when we're outside of school, call me Paul" he said with a smile.
"I didn't realize you two already knew each other" mom said
"I'm Marnie's music history teacher" Paul said. That's when I noticed Paul's arm wrapped around the waist of a red headed woman. For some reason, I felt a little jealous. Wait, Marnie, no. He's your teacher. You aren't supposed to like him like that.
"Who's the lovely lady Paul?" mom asked. The red head smiled.
"I'm Jane Asher. I'm Paul's fiancé" she said. I had to do my best to hold back a glare at her.
"Oh, so you two are getting married?" mom asked.
"Yeah" Paul said, a bit unsure of himself and then he looked at me.

I couldn't help by look at Marnie. She was wearing a dress and she looked so beautiful.
"Marine has a boyfriend" Lydia said. Wait, Marnie said she didn't.
"He's not my boyfriend. He's just a boy I have a huge crush on" Marnie said. She likes someone? Paul, why would she have feelings for you? You're her teacher.
"He's name is Andrew Simpson. He's a sweet boy" Lydia said.
"I have him in my class" I said, feeling my stomach churn with some jealousy.
"He sits beside me" Marnie said, smiling at the thought. That smile was gorgeous but it was Andrew making her smile like that. Not me.
"Aww, someone's in love! Doesn't that remind you of us when we first met, Paul? It was like love at first sight" Jane said. Marnie quickly wiped the smile off her face.
"That's sweet" Marnie said, in an annoyed tone.
"Anyways, whose ready for dinner?" Lydia said

All throughout dinner, I could feel Paul's eyes on me while Jane rambled on and on. I really didn't like Jane and it wasn't just because she was engaged to my teacher, wait, maybe it was. After dinner, Paul and Jane got ready to leave.
"Thank you for having us Lydia" Paul said
"It was a lovely dinner" Jane said
"Oh, thank you" mom said. Paul looked at me and smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow Marnie" Paul said
"You will" I said. They then left. Mom told me that she was going to clean up in the kitchen and that I should head to bed.
When I got to my bedroom, I fell back on the bed and thought back to Paul. Then it hit me. I was officially crushing on my teacher.
