(In case you were wondering, this is about the video game "Portal")

271. Half Life and Portal are all in the same universe. In Half Life there's the borealis made by Aperture Science. In Still Alive GLaDOS states: "Maybe you'll find someone else to help you. Maybe Black Mesa (fun fact: Half Life 3 was originally scheduled to come out in 2007. GLaDOS says, "Black Mesa at 2:07", now add a zero you get 20:07). And in old Aperture Cave Johnson states: "Damn you Black Mesa!"

272. The original concept for Portal 2 was named "F-stop" which the beta testers liked. What they didn't like was that there were no portals. So Valve scrapped the idea and brought us what we have today.

273. Originally co-op was going to have someone named Mel. Valve sadly scrapped it.

274. There was originally going to be an Easter egg found in Portal 2: It was a song and like the last 2 facts it was scrapped. But Ellen McLain (the voice of GLaDOS) sung it. Harry101uk on YouTube posted it gladosified.

275. Wheatley once had a different voice actor where he didn't sound more enthusiastic at all he sounded like he was done.

276. The fact you've all been waiting for: Chell and Gordon Freeman have the same voice actor

277. Cave Johnson was voiced by J.K. Simmons who also voiced Gruncle Ford in Gravity Falls. The weird part about this is they both invented a special type of gun.

278. Valve at first didn't want to put in "The cake is a lie" joke because they were sick of it. But they had to have at least 1.

279. There's somewhere in a portal game that has a sign that says: "Caution: THIS IS SPARTA!"

280. Cave Johnson originally founded a company called "Aperture Fixtures" which sold shower curtains.
