538. There are strict rules to name a child in Germany: First, the name has to be identifiable as a name, meaning it is in most cases not possible to name your child after an object. Names have to indicate the gender of the child (so if you give the child a neutral name like Alex, you need a second name to indicate the gender), names that ridicule the child (like "Popo" meaning butt) and names that have a religious meaning or negative connotation (like Judas or Satan) are forbidden, and also, a name shouldn't be the name of a city, trademark or a title like lord.
