421. To shortly explain the concept of the game: you play a human child that travels the fictional Underground: a large region underneath the surface of the Earth. The inhabitants of the Underground are called "monsters", a diverse and intelligent group that has been banished from the surface after a war with humanity. You have to find your way back to the surface and in the progress, you have to decide on whether to kill or befriend the monsters. The outcome of the game is directly affected by your choices as well as the dialogue and story.
422. The game was independently created by Toby Fox and funded through 'Kickstarter'. Fox started with a goal of $5,000 but eventually received 10 times as much.
423. It took Fox approximately 2.7 years to create the game. He predicted that the game would be about two hours long, but it eventually grew to three times that size.
424. The game will remember every little detail from you saving to you dying and going back to a checkpoint.
425. 'Undertale' was originally supposed to be a sequel to a nonexistent rom hack of Earthbound called 'Underbound'.
426. Although the story of the game is entirely delivered in text, there is a character that technically has a speaking voice. When playing genocide route and killing everybody, Flowey will soon appear and after some conversation, you will hear it saying, "[Let's turn 'em all to dust!]That's a wonderful idea!"
427. During a stage in Waterfall, you have to build a bridge out of flowers. If you ignore the riddle you need to solve and instead take the flowers to the bottom right corner of the screen, you can unlock a secret area with a bank and a quiche laying under it. This is a reference to some tweets between Toby Fox and his brother.
428. Flowey knows if you're streaming or recording footage for YouTube.

❗️429. If you kill Toriel in a run, then replay it when fighting her you have the option to say, "I saw you get murdered" and she'd reply with, "That's creepy". And the great and powerful Flowey would say, "You murdered her... You regretted it though. So you hit reset".
‼️ 430. Once you do a genocide route you can never do a pacifist route ever again.
