191. The distance between Earth and Mars is not always the same. In fact, it varies between 56 and 401 million kilometres.

193. Would an astronaut step on  a scale on Mars, they would only weigh a little more than one third of their weight on Earth.

194. There are storms at a speed of up to 400 kilometres per hour on Mars's surface which can last for months and cover the entire planet.

196. As we all know, the highest mountain on Earth is Mount Everest (with 8848 metres). But compared to the Martian 'Olympus Mons', it's just a small hill. Olympus Mons is 26 kilometres high and  thus the highest mountain in our solar system.

197. The two moons circling Mars are called Phobos and Deimos, meaning fear and terror.

198. When the first US orbiter landed on Mars, the US was sued by three Yemeni who claimed that they inherited the Red Planet from their ancestors.

199.  Mars takes its name from the Roman god of war. The Romans associated the planet's blood-red colour with Mars, as did the ancient Greek and Egyptians.

‼️ 200. ‼️ A buisnessman from the Netherlands plans a manned journey to Mars. More than 100,000 have volunteered for the Mars One Mission which is to start in 2022. The thing is just there's no return flight...
